yes, it is TOTALLY the parents money. as a new owner myself, that went through the checks for a mortgage with a mortgage advisor, I REFUSE to even entertain for a second the fact that SHE is buying it instead of the parents.

I agree that this sudden ability to purchase a property after failing credit checks for a rental has her parents fronting it written all over it.
Absolutely no issue with that but it’s fairly insulting to make out all of a sudden she’s able to do this off her own back, considering she puts zero effort into her ‘job’ and is always on holiday!

agree! I was helped by my parents with 1/3 of my deposit because even after 14 years with a full time job I had nowhere enough for a deposit... but she would never admit the help, she is a "boss b€ babe"

I may be missing something here but... isn't this the dumbest question ever? May be me but painting, carpets, decor... aren't those things you would usually change anyway when purchasing a house to make it 100% yours? Does she want to find a house that already has the photo frames she wants hanging from the living room? I'm confused.

I wonder if she has lost interest in buying a house as it will tie her down to the north west - near her parents and her boyfriend is in London. Clever move by her parents as they won’t want her moving to London when at the moment she sees them several times a week and her dad is clearly struggling. Or she wants to wait and buy with her boyfriend and tie him down. She could move anywhere as her “career” isn’t tied to one place.
