YES! I found this quite creepy. I love my little nephew and I'm always happy to babysit him when my brother needs a hand, but he's not my kid so it would never cross my mind to create a bedroom for him at my house.

Completely understand why Tony's sister reacted the way she did. Sounds like Emma was after another pet.

I totally agree. It’s not like they were exceptionally close.

And so it begins...

I expect the niece would of been so they could act like part time parents and use her as an excuse to live out more child like things and day trips! Probably so she could blag some freebies or take part in surveys requiring children.

And so it begins...
She’s such a strange one!

I think she cares more about the attention than the actual diagnoses / problems I mean who rushes home to tell Instagram they have cancer? Someone who sets up a wish list that’s who.....

Oh for goodness sake - the self care aspect of today is the bloody MRI!! It doesn’t need a day of treats, it doesn’t need the world’s attention, it just needs to be done and that’s it.

I had an MRI in February and I went by myself - despite being really unwell at the tail end of flu - and only my husband and my parents knew I was going for it. I went there, had it done, came home and went to bed (had I not have had flu, I would have just gone about my day as normal). No treats necessary - and you know what Emma, I survived it even without a coffee shop trip! You can too!

ETA - just looked back on her list for today and the only thing on the list she has down as a maybe is the only thing she should definitely be doing - the gym!! Everything else (bar the MRI) can be wiped off as unnecessary!

I am a retired nurse and volunteered to act as a guinea pig to help train some PHD medical students how to use equipment when conducting experiments. One piece of kit they were learning to use was an MRI scanner. It really is not that scary. She could imagine she is in bed under the duvet or in a pillow fort.

It really isn’t too bad is it? I pretty much fell asleep during mine! I only woke up when the bed moved ever so slightly and I got a shock.

Or you know, just think of the fact that a professional is helping you with your health and that as a result of the MRI, you might be put on a pathway to help you feel healthier?
Also, if I thought a “reward” for myself was a walk round Poundland I’d be seriously reevaluating my life! She leads a sad little existence if Poundland is considered a treat!

To be fair to Emma, I had a MRI a few years ago and was so scared before and during. 1 for what they were looking at to diagnose and 2 because of claustrophobia, I didn't quite realise how enclosed I would be, got a shock when the table started to rise up which made it so much worse! Thankfully diagnosis was conclusive and wasn't anything life threatening.

That being said I don't think it's something she needs to document to everyone especially if she will have to wait for results...but then I guess as we know she probably thrives off the attention?

Oh don’t get me wrong, I was really nervous before mine but as soon as I got in the machine I realised it wasn’t going to hurt me, and if I needed to get out I just needed to ask. My mum has awful claustrophobia so she would be completely unable to have an MRI - even small bathrooms scare her - so I get how bad it can be for people but from my experience it wasn’t too bad.

I also have terrible anxiety so could easily play that card like Emma does for every little thing in my life, but I don’t use it as an excuse like she does. I use it as a tool to improve and battle against. After two major episodes in the past few years, I refuse to let anxiety overpower me and win - Emma just gives up and gives in because it’s easier and gives her an excuse for treats and “nope days”.

Its genuinely like shes given up and forgotten she had WLS, she's not eating much less and it's all shite an sugary drinks anyway.

Also since when does a non invasive hospital visit warrant stupid spending of money for 'self care'??? The only time I've 'treated' myself after a visit was when I had a gastroscopy and that was a takeaway on the way home as I hadn't been allowed to eat for the whole day prior and by the time I got home it was 6PM and I was starving 😂😂

Emma lying in the MRI machine making her Poundland list "get that bread, get that head and leave."

Her covid anxiety is going well.

I think I know where a fair bit of the Christmas money goes. I watched some of the Vlogmas videos this week; the last one, which covers Christmas Eve and Christmas day, is 25 minutes long. 13 minutes of this is Emma and Tony giving the cats their presents and preparing a "Catmas dinner" for them.

Oh god the "Catmas dinner"

Yes the MRI itself is fine I agree, I guess it's just the mental games it plays with you that I know I personally struggled with!

I agree with you, it does seem she gives up far too quickly on things and can often look for a excuse

Why do 'influencers' always feel the need to post photos of themselves in hospital gowns? The last thing I'm thinking about when I have a hospital procedure is posting it up to thousands of people online immediately before the procedure, it's bizarre behaviour

Anyone else massively triggered by her saying the “fat gowns”? It’s so offensive and just another example of how completely tone deaf she is. 🤬
I think she forgets where she came from..so insensitive..I worked with a lady who had a gastric band and she was forever commenting on my weight but forgot she was a size 30 before she had it done 🤷🏻‍♀️

She’ll be loving the attention
