I'm all for supporting businesses during covid if you can. However if she wants to help businesses during the pandemic and sit in a coffee shop to work, she should search out a small independent cafe rather than a chain like Costa. They'd appreciate the sales a lot more!

If she goes to Costa because she likes a particular drink I'm pretty sure there would be something similar she could have (but technically shouldn't) in an independent cafe too?!

Exactly, places like Costa and McDonald’s are busy regardless, they don’t need to encourage people to go there because they will anyway. A real boss babe would be supporting the smaller businesses who are on the verge of going under and need people’s support.

Just like she'll be asking people to support her small Christmas shop rather than buy from Home Bargains or supermarkets 😅. Think she's trying to forget her spending is so out of control she bought a Christmas shop.

Roald Dahl got it right when he wrote The Twits. Do you think that he could look into the future and had her in mind when he wrote this? You just need to substitute the nasty thoughts bit with 'scamming vulnerable people in financial dire straits' and you are halfway there.
