You can always just weigh it as well! 75g pasta per adult & 60g rice per adult is usually about right! :)
Absolutely agree but try getting my husband to do that! 😂 I really dislike all the packaging that comes with HF too. We tried it for a few weeks in lockdown just for a change but soon went back to cooking from scratch ourselves. I have used the recipe cards quite a few times since though.

Same ! Was great in lockdown because some stuff was scarce in the supermarkets and we were trying to stay at home as much as possible. But OMG, all the plastic … was nice though to choose what we would eat the following week rather than take whatever was left in the shops. Kept some of the recipe cards too !

Ahh the upstairs utility. Yes I am jealous, yes I do wish I had one and yes it is lovely, I really like it.

BUT
Why is one of the pro points of it ‘when I’m doing the boys bath’. is there a finished, family bathroom? Because the famous Jack and Jill has a shower Emily, and at this age why does she have to bathe them? Surely the only one who needs any help is Jackson? She makes it sound as if she’s got her 3 boys in the bath together.

I like spending money on useless tit as much as the next person (a lot!) but is a cooked meal delivery for a dog not a bit much? We’d have a bit of disposable income and our pets are pretty pampered but that seems so OTT to me. Especially after her latest video had an ads for expensive personalised skin care.
Doesn’t matter to her as she’s not paying for any of it anyway.
All #gifted

How odd, surely they all just shower, even the youngest, he’s nearly 6? Or does she still run them a communal bath with Johnson’s baby bubbles and rubber ducks 😂

Does Emily tumble dry everything? An upstairs utility just doesn't make sense if you line dry. I'd love one for the winter to house the airers (I use a dehumidifier, no space for drier here). Crucially though some things can't be tumble dried, not least the logo'd sweat shirts for our local primary (they shrink!).

But downstairs utility in most UK homes is usually also extra kitchen space e.g random crap you don't use daily, storage. Which would make no sense to be upstairs.

I agree, but then my washer is downstairs and my aider is upstairs so most of the year I am dragging it all upstairs to dry!
I think if I had her money and house I’d have an upstairs laundry room and a downstairs utility room, with another washer in it for stuff like my dog beds, throws, tea towels etc. really extra but god it would be great. That could also be the messy kitchen for all my various under utilised gadgets!

I just find the concept of an upstairs utility room very strange, maybe I could be wrong but could the constant vibration of the tumble dryer and washing machine cause cracks and issues with supports in the upper floor? Over many years it's bound too, they live in an old house. what about the noise at night if the boys are in bed, carrying wet bedsheets down stairs to dry outside etc. Also keeping your cleaning products upstairs would be a bit of a nightmare too.

I had an upstairs utility room in our US house. We were not allowed to hang out our washing -ever! Homeowners association rules! I hated that!
So yes, I think it would be a huge hassle to bring wet laundry downstairs to hang out. It’s ok bringing dry stuff down to the washer. So she probably won’t bother and will use tumble dryer and aired in that cupboard they had built. Obviously don’t give a tit about the environment or the cost of electricity!🙄

I thought she said they would hang out washing on the the balcony....

Why were you not allowed to hang washing out 😳 that's crazy!

The upstairs utility is just another example of Emily being out of touch with her followers.

How many of her followers have an upstairs utility or are thinking of adding one?

I appreciate perhaps its more of a US thing and maybe that’s her target audience.

But most of her followers are mostly in the UK living in tiny homes where you can barely stand a clothes horse let alone have an upstairs room just for the washing.

I also bet it’s noisy being upstairs! Making the floor shake when the washer is going!

I wish I had a utility room at all! It is just very out of touch but then again she’s got what she wants, paid for because of her followers so what does she care?

The Homeowners Association declared it to be not aesthetically pleasing to look at laundry! There were several rules: you had to get approval if you wanted to paint your house outside! It’s very common in the US but drove me potty because it was so hot my laundry would dry in minutes! I used airers tucked round a corner on our patio! Our electric bill was already high in summer due to the a/c wasn’t going to use a bloody tumble dryer when it’s 35C outside!
I cannot see Emily lugging wet laundry down to hang out plus there garden is smaller now and with the kids football goals there’s probably no room for a washing line!

I would put kind of tent or closed gazebo in the garden then hang a laundry ;)

It makes me so angry that she’s on the beg on Amazon prime day. It screams desperation. She’s so calculated knowing that innocent people will click on her links in curiosity, not realising that anything they buy on Amazon for however many days will give her money, not just the thing she’s recommended. She couldn’t be more obvious. I wonder how many people contributed to her Aldi box yesterday. Either times are hard or she’s what we all suspect… a greedy bleep! Hopefully both and her time fleecing everyone is coming to an end.

As if anyone responded to that awful question either. It didn’t even make sense.

I honestly think Hat’s input has ruined her career. She knows it too but I imagine he’s quite controlling she won’t say anything.

Did anyone else clock the reference to Matt’s job on the kid’s Father’s Day card to him? “Helps mummy*” 😂

*sorry “mommy”
I thought Matt owned 2 beauty businesses? What happened to those?
