I’m sorry but white/cream rugs in a kitchen, with three kids and a dog! Is she mad? I realise you can wash them but why give yourself the extra job? She’d also have to move them each time she mops and it’s not like they’re there for the warmth given they’ve got underfloor heating and wood, not cold tiles! 🤯
Not the most hygienic!
Alo a major trip hazard, or maybe that's just me 🤣

They often have rugs in the kitchen in America especially at those hot spots like the sink, so I presume they do in Canada too.. so that’s probably why she wants it like that. Similar to the upstairs laundry room - very North American thing to do.

Viewing schools isnt really the done thing where I am in the north but I can imagine I would go and view the school if I was paying for it.
If so, admitting sending the kids to private school (albeit great for them!) isnt exactly keeping in touch with her audience…
Seconday scools round here (I'm in SW) have open days where you look round your options before you put down your choices. Obviously the local authority criteria still applies so I assumed that's what they did. We'll soon know come September, she won't be able to resist the starting school photo I'm sure.
I'd be very surprised if they could afford 3 in private secondary. Besides it's too much of an investment for them, Emz likes to spend her money on superficial stuff from "Amazin" (as she says Amazon).

I’m new on this thread but have been getting more annoyed with the excessive ads lately and realised I was just hate-watching so here I am.
I have a question though - on a recent vlog Emily mentions Fraser going to senior school and viewing them etc. is it a private school he is going to?

I don’t think so. One of the schools was matt’s old one and I’m sure he didn’t go private.

They look ridiculous in the kitchen! She will constantly be having to clean them.
Her bloody interior designer loves a rug. Every room has at least two bloody rugs in.

I live in Essex and we still have the 11 plus here and many parents, including Emily tutor their kids within an inch of their lives in order to get into a selective school. Fraser had a lot of expensive tutoring and I suppose Caleb will get the same. I'm pretty sure which school he'll be going to due to their location but obviously won't say on here.

All the secondary schools in my area have open evenings for parents and child to look round, and they nearly all erect huge billboards outside the school with the dates of the open evening. It's very competitive actually.

I doubt Emily has even paid for tutoring, she clearly did the go student ad in order to get free tutoring
Yes, typical of her to get a freebie but at the same time expects her followers to put their hands in their pockets.

It's ironic really, the 11+ was introduced so bright children from poorer backrounds could get a leg up in life by getting into a grammar school. Many of those children were amongst the first in their families to go to university.

Where I am from schools do open days to allow parents to get an idea of what the school is about, I'm assuming that's what she meant by viewing the school

I'm in the north (North East) and we plan to visit 3/4 secondary schools in the area this coming September. I've never known anyone to just put down their nearest school/school the primary feeds into without going to look at at least one other?

Emily has previously stated that although they could afford private school they choose not to as they like to travel - which for her means fly somewhere and sit by the pool for a fortnight with the kids on iPads!!
If that’s the case she should pay for private as they get 8 weeks off in the summer holidays plus extra nearly 3 weeks at Christmas as well as other extra days

Wmily moaning about her Amazon return pallet. If you want expensive coffee machine just buy it. We all knkw Amazon return pallet was just for views.

She’s in the Sun, how embarrassing. She did say she would donate to local shelters in the video. I’m wondering if she returned it to Amazon instead

I honestly doubt they could afford private for all 3 children together, and if they did pay for it, it would massively cut into their disposable income, meaning no more holidays, which is fair enough, I wouldn't imagine she makes anything outstanding money ways on YouTube, if you look at her views etc I'd say she probably brings in around 3000 pm which isn't too shady at all however I'd imagine her mortgage is disgustingly high considering her house location, the house is nice, however nothing I would consider "wow" all her other bills etc I would say she is wise to have her children at public school, also her boys are bright so will do just as well wherever they go so it would be silly putting herself in debt for an education.

She’s got to be on way more than 3k a month, unless they made a lot of money with Matt selling his business. My partner and I are on 4.5k between us and there’s no way we could afford a million pound house, which is what she paid for it. Plus the ££££s for the renovations! She does a lot of ads!

Matt selling his business and they also would have made alot from the sale of their previous home, I definately don't get the impression they are rolling in it, but definately comfortable.
