Do they get paid when people click on it, or do they have to make a sale through it?
 
I can't watch the whole of her new vlog, I feel so uncomfortable as someone who's had body confidence/issues with food for a long time. She seems so sad and just "flat" 😕

Does anyone remember JustJodes (Jodie Porteous) on YT? She lives with anorexia and doesn't do YT anymore. Well in her last few videos I remember thinking she looks unwell... I'm starting to feel the same about Emily, I hope she gets help

yes !! jodes never felt triggering or damaging to her audience though. ever since on instagram she’s been nothing but helpful. (she might make a comeback too!) emily on the other hand is jusy encouraging her audience to be as skinny and tall as they can be , to be like her. awful

It’s depends which program they use. Some use one that they get 3 pence per click whether people buy or not and nothing from the sale. Or some of them get 10% - 15% of the sale and nothing for the click.

I don’t think they’re making as much as people think they are though tbh. You’re completing against other influencers. this whole thing about 30 day cookies makes it seem like they have loads of opportunities to make money but how many other affiliate links would people click on in the mean time? It’s a bit of a gamble which influencer would get the sale commission.

It also takes months to actually get that said commission. If someone bought something from Emily today that cost them £30 she probably wouldn’t get that £3 for another 3-6 months. And if that item was returned she’d get nothing.

it’s a nice bonus for them for sure but in no way a guaranteed income.

Nah, we saw the bloke in her mirror briefly - i paused it as i wonderes if it was james. I winder ehat he thought filming it, was this what he studied videography for? And was he even paid?!!!

I would hope so cause they’re not getting any exposure out of it when she doesn’t even credit them. The photographer comments on her photos though so I guess she doesn’t care? It rubs me the wrong way tbh.

She isn't looking her best, tired, drawn and a tad scrawny round thr chest and neck but she is no where near as thin as eugina clooney who was terrifically skeletal for years or justjodes who also looked very ill on her content and is still working on recovery. It's a.lifetime commitment and I hope Emily doesn't slip into dangerous restrictions.atm she just looks stressed and seems to be pining for James.

At lesst her Dad is setting a good example! Looks as though the family sit down to eat together (nice) at the dining room table (nice again) and eat a traditional meal (third nice) if she is struggling this seems to be one of the best environments.

Wouldn't have the tv on during dinner but it seems to be on their dining room wall.
