I don't think she has that obligation. Her content is also mostly about sharing her life and her choices. It only means that she wants a skinny body. I wouldn't find it harmful. Did she ask others to live like her? I think you guys are asking a lot of her.

Well if it's not chubby, then I mean I think she looks better when she has a rounder face and some fat on her legs. But she wants to be skinnier, that's her choice. Why should she be harshly criticised for that I don't understand.
 
Can we not tell people to go to a rave thread, and not be here.
I’m not a fan of Emily at all, but I’m interested to see why people would like her. Each to their own and all that. Everyone here must have liked her at some point to follow her, and has now had their eyes opened. I’d prefer if we listen to what people said and hopefully we can open their eyes too to what type of person she is.

Please tell me this is all a joke… ‘Authentic’ is not the word for someone who puts videos out, deletes them and won’t answer her followers questions because it’s ‘too personal’ when she’s the one who put the idea out in the first place.

I also struggle to see how you believe her weight loss is acceptable to showcase on social media, when she KNOWS there is young impressionable girls watching. She knows exactly what she’s doing, she has literally made videos with her bigger friend just to point out how much smaller she is. I’m older than the majority of her followers, 5 years recovered from an ed and I have had to block her on tiktok because of how triggered and upset it made me. And from this thread you’ll see countless other users saying the same.

Can you also say how it’s acceptable for her to scrounge off her parents for years when she’s more than financially stable, just to then years later say how it wasn’t a ‘safe space’ and allude to how toxic and bad for her? Again, claiming she didn’t feel allowed to use the kitchen when she’s made videos of her cooking a full chicken in there.

I could go on to debunk the rest of the complete bull you’ve been saying but I know you’ve got a busy life with your renovations and dealing with the toxic environment of rent free life with your parents.
 
^ Are you sure you're not taking some of her awful moments and defining her in the entirety? I really think she's just a normal person, probably a bit dumb and simple. It is also because of the dumbness that she shows all these negative parts. Otherwise, she could have made herself look so perfectly elegant that she wouldn't have mentioned the kitchen crap at home.

Emily is girly and vain. she is also the kind of person that everyone can see right through for she is not wise. which makes her harmless.

she promotes unhealthy behaviours, such as her very low weight, to an impressionable audience. That’s not harmless.

I agree with this so much. I’m naturally very skinny and usually a size 4/6 and even I can see that her body is unhealthy. This is not her natural body and you just have to take one look at her face, skin, hair and overall appearance to understand that she is currently very unhealthy. This is not her natural weight, if it was she would look happy and healthy, she wouldn’t look malnourished and haggard.

She did not use healthy methods to achieve this body. She underate significantly, everytime she’s done a wieiad video since her weight loss, she’d basically survived on bone broth and coffee, which would be a miserable existence. She wears ankle weights around the house for christs sake. None of this is healthy and none of this should be promoted to young impressionable teenagers. She clearly has body image issues and I hope her younger sister isn’t picking up on this.

Whilst I strongly disagree when people body shame her and refer to her as skeletal and refer to her body as hideous etc. I do NOT disagree with people rightfully holding her accountable. She doesn’t have to verbatim say “eat as little as me guys! over exercise like me!” for her audience to start imitating her behaviours, she is an influencer, she influences. Of course her young fans are going to be influenced by her lifestyle choices, because if Emily says she’s never felt healthier then it must be a healthy choice to make! She’s constantly body checking and contorting her body in ways which make her look smaller than she is, she literally did a video trying on CHILDRENS clothing to emphasise her weight loss, she made a video recently and the only point she seemed to want to make was “i’m skinny now and my friend is larger therefore i look better in clothing”.

People with ED’s and body image issues have said that she triggers them, as an influencer it’s her responsibility to acknowledge this instead of saying “iTs NoT tHaT dEeP”. she’s a shallow, narcissistic bleep of a girl.

I didn’t realise James Bourne had fangirls…. Don’t you think he’s a creep for dating a girl 15 years younger than him? Didn’t he also date a girl who was 15/16 when he was in his 20s? Don’t you think it’s weird that he’s nearly 40 and acts like he’s 21?

He is definitely not mature for his mental age. I always think that busted's breakup kept him stuck in his 20s. he's stuck in time. Believe me, he's not acting like 20, he's a 20-year-old teenager at heart, and that's something he doesn't want to let go. If you know about him and have heard the helplessness in his songs, you will be more tolerant of him. He is a very talented songwriter and I think he has a brilliant future ahead of him as long as he gets rid of his attachment to busted.
