Yes I realise having a lot of my friends go through it but she's not helping herself, actively promoting being that tiny to a younger audience and no one around her is helping her. She needs help.

I agree that she shouldn’t be promoting this to her audience but unless you know her personally, you don’t know whether or not she’s trying to recover, and whether or not the people close to her are trying to help. I highly doubt her family are blind to her weight loss. You can offer all the help you can, but a person has to be willing to accept it.
I think it’s damaging to say that someone is choosing to have an eating disorder because all EDs have their own roots.
I agree! I get that she's not choosing to do it but she has the money to get the help and all the resources she needs. As people have posted even today her influence and being so tiny is defo having an affect on her little sister so it will be doing that to other girls as well. She has a large platform and could be using it to create positivity and an important message about eating disorders but instead promotes fast fashion and mindlessness that's all I am trying to convey. No one wants an ED I get that but she's got everything she could need to be able to recover which puts her in a very privleged position

She literally just released a gift guide last week, no one wants a second one. Gifts are so personal and a generic “gift guide” just isn’t that interesting
Having money to get help means nothing. It’s a mental illness, she isn’t choosing to have an ED which means she’s likely not able to choose to get help… or potentially doesn’t realise she needs it.
I know it's not about money. All I am saying is she could whereas there are lots of people that would dream of the life and resources she has. If she really has no one in her life that doesn't she that she needs it they all must be blind. She might be getting help behind the scenes but of she is and is still promoting fast fashion and bone broth to literal children than that's not okay with me. I only even discovered this thread because of my friends who has an ED has a tone of pics of Emily on her finsta, she constantly relapses and I know it's difficult but images like that online are not helping the issue

Definitely, I think it would be hugely beneficial to both Emily and her followers if she stepped away from social media for a while and focused on looking after herself.
Yep absolutely agree, I have the biggest issue with her social media presence. The constant body checking and being extremely triggering has a damaging impact on her impressional audience.
I completely understand that it is never a choice for anyone suffering mental illness, however I think it boils down to her family/management not stepping in. They need to be doing much more imo.
100% I guess that taking time out would mean she would have to explain what's going on which she probably doesn't want to do but as with so many influencers they spend they put so much empahsis and time on their appearance it's just an unhealthy job in general
Even if you are not younger or impressionable having images of her constantly on socials can make you question yourself and your worth!

She’s so false with the Pandora sponsorship again. We all saw how she sells on the jewellery so why is she promoting it? I can’t believe she bare-faced lied and said she wears pandora daily?! But conveniently had taken all her usual (Missoma) jewellery off “for a shoot” and forgot to put it all back on again. More like she couldn’t wear anything that wasn’t Pandora for the video so that eliminates all her usuals jewellery…

Pandora jewellery is definitely not her style, and it’s so inauthentic for her to pretend it is. im Surprised pandora still want to worth with her to be honest, considering she just sells it all

This isn't the slam dunk you think it is. It says "arthritis is often associated with older people, but it can affect children, too." "Often associated" is not a medical statement, it's a statement about common assumptions. Exactly like the assumption you made.
Given that Emily and her sister both suffer from some form of arthritis, it is likely one of the forms that is hereditary.
Do you think they know and just turn a blind eye?

I replied to her story saying ‘you literally sell all your Pandora stuff on Facebook market place’ but no response unfortunately
Didn't say I was right and everyone else was wrong. I am a numbers girl and the NHS says 3 million people are affected by it in the UK and of that 15000 are children and young people. As a total percentage, young people account for 1.5% which as a general assumption people that think it is associated mostly to older people are correct. I get it was insensitive but you can't really argue with numbers from an objective manor. Again I am sure you will use things like people who don't report it or haven't been diagnosed but all I am doing is working with the facts. Could have easily found a rogue site to help me try and validate my assumptions but I didn't so not sure why my comment is under such scrutiny. At the end of the day the reason I posted that screenshot as I don't believe she should be getting sympathy for this illness when she's promoting unhealthy body image to young girls who may then get this because they are trying to take steps to look like Emily. She could use her platform to educate people like me but instead makes a post all about her and getting people to feel sorry for her. Doesn't post any charity links or links to educate people and that's all I am trying to convey. Might seem brutal but we are all allowed our own opinions.
