Sorry but I’m sick of seeing Natasha o brien in every single podcast 🙄
Hard disagree. The girl got beaten on conscious by a member of the defence forces (so he had combat training), he legged it and later boasted on his social media what he did. She was left rehabilitating and suffering blackouts unable to work and traumatized. He gets to court and gets a three year suspended sentence and the judge says he won’t lock him up cause he might lose his job. Fair fucks to her for raising awareness on what happened to her and the out come which is the state let her down and she didn’t get justice. She could be any of us some day or night and it’s just not ok that these scumbags are not getting locked up. Her speaking out is trying to get a change in the justice system for innocent victims and send a message these kind of acts won’t be and shouldn’t be tolerated.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk

Completely agree about what happened her it’s a disgrace. That waster should’ve absolutely been put in prison but Natasha just doesn’t come across well. Great she’s fighting her corner etc but to me it seems like she’s trying to become an influencer and this is her opportunity to do so. We’ve enough of them around without someone like her who’s most likely still not 100% after what she went through.

I mean both her and Charleen are victims of male violence by a man they didn’t personally know. It’ll be interesting to see the conversation between the pair. Male violence is an epidemic in this country.
Also there's no such thing as a perfect victim, we can't diminish the woman because she isn't the victim we want her to be now that's it's out in the open. I know people on here mean well but it feeds into the misogyny by saying she's too loud she's too much etc..

100% agree with this. Wish more people read into the perfect victim complex. In order for a victim to be taken seriously they must be “likeable” and perform to a standard no one knows the rules to. They also love when a victim is meek and submissive, which Natasha isn’t. They also don’t like it when victims fight back.

Who was it that Charlene and Ellie were friends with, that had dv charges put against him? It was mentioned either here or Charlene thread back when her incident occured and i can't be added to scroll through
Darragh Smith. Charges of violent disorder, him and his mates assaulted 8 members of the public. That has 0 correlation with her head getting smashed in though lol.

I can say what happened to her was awful and wrong. But she was very ok with remaining friends with a scumbag who was publicly known to have imposed violence on numerous other people. Whether its on a man or woman. Shes a hypocrit. Simple as that
