Elle really embodies everything wrong with Instagram culture. All this Girlboss, hard work and savings paying off bs she sells is so not true. I can’t stand all this because it really impacts others self esteem when they work hard, save and still can’t afford the lifestyle Elle has because they don’t have a mother or inheritance behind the scenes filling in the gap. If you don’t want to disclose your financial situation fine, but don’t try to sell it all as your hard work. At least in Elle’s case she doesn’t seem to have too many young followers to be impacted by this and most of her followers who comment are middle age women probably living out a fantasy through her.

It could be cultural, I know that some cultures believe if you wear a ring on your ring finger before marriage your doomed to be single forever.

I am so confused at this haul - who is buying full sets of cashmere lounge sets when it is finally spring and getting nice out and everyone is hopeful that we'll be out and back to somewhat more normal life in the next few months? Each set is like $400, and there are 4 sets. I assume she won't keep them all, but that's $1600 of clothing in that haul!!!

She made it seem like she was keeping all of them, the way she went on about what colors she chose. She mentioned she picked the last set in black, since she may be able to wear it outside of the house one day. And there I was thinking, who's paying for all this?!

I still don't understand her obsession with things that "don't add bulk" . This is lounge wear! You are supposed to be comfortable. She worries about pockets in work trousers adding bulk (hint if you are wearing a pair that fit they won't add bulk, and it isn't much to begin with people will know it is your pockets and not a weird lump of your body) and worries about her lounge wear adding bulk.

How sad a life is that where you are concerned with your lounge wear making you look "fat". It doesn't really go with the " sassy" cucking Elle who slathered her cutting board with sour cream.

In this video, Elle and Joe travelled to Toronto for a friend's wedding. They spent a few days before in Niagara Falls for a romantic getaway then went to the city for the wedding.

19:15: Elle is at the Chanel store looking at shoes, then picks to a truly ugly pair of Gucci block heeled mules. The only reason they're shopping is because Joe forget his dress shoes. Hmmm... maybe Elle took them out of his suitcase so she would have an excuse to go shopping?

22:40: Elle is ready for brunch with a fellow YouTuber (My Daily Sweet), but doesn't film the brunch. She also mentions how she's having difficult booking a venue for her Toronto meet up because she doesn't know how many people will show up. Did she honestly think it would be more than 20? They look normal and relaxed. The kind of people you could friends with because they seem genuine and kind. I'd dread being Smelle's friend. Imagine if she came to your house - she'd probably make a mental note of you being a peasant if your soap isn't Jo Malone (or a Jo Malone dispenser refilled with something cheaper ). She'd probably give you 'top cooking tips' and smudge cheese all over, while trying to eat SeDuCTiVeLy.
