So basically she’s shoved an island in a kitchen it doesn’t really belong in just because she wanted one at any cost.

Everything is so haphazard. First we're cutting trees down, then it's an ikea island, then the drive, then new cushions, then an actual island with weird light thing. Is it just me that would do one room at a time?

What i find so weird with this one is that she disappeared for ages and then just returned with a new man and house and picked up as usual, no explanation (that I saw?) each to their own, but she could have just started a new private page and document her life/renovation for people that know her and are interested but if you’re going to keep the big platform, at least respect your followers enough to mention this gigantic change at least!

also blows my mind that her taste hasn’t changed one iota in the time she was gone. Shame, as it is a very dated taste imo.

I understand wanting to have a concealed extractor over the island, but a chandelier style, why oh why, it would be an absolute nightmare to keep clean. She could have got a pop up extractor instead and gone for spotlights or hanging bulbs, for instance, or something, which would be much more practical.

Baffled why they would lay a new patio and fit new things in the kitchen before having building work done?! Surely it should be the other way around! Also looks like she is recreating the kitchen from her old house by the look of the new cabinet doors.
