I love Shirley but she's been criminally under used for a while now, even when she's been part of a storyline like losing her sister they've written her like a bit part, just snarling in the background rather than utilising her brilliant acting

Catching up on the couple of episodes I missed last week and I can't get my head around how Ravi is meant to be older than Kheerat? He doesn't even look like he's in his late 20s, let alone late 30s. I thought Nugget was his brother at first. So fit though

I thought they might go someone interesting with the Mitchell feud but that hasn’t worked out. A love interest might be good, although I can’t think of anyone on the square.

To be honest, they are better off just getting rid of the whole Carter lot. They’ve served their purpose. I’d rather see a new family move in.

She had a bit of a flirtation with a Polish man a while back but then he disappeared and was never mentioned again. There was a period when that happened a lot , where storylines were forgotten about.

She was thinking of leaving 9 years ago before Mick & Linda et al were introduced. I find Shirley very unlikeable these days. She drains the life out of a scene. I wouldn't mind if she left.

he is an outstanding drunk actor. i remember one of the secrets from the square episodes over lockdown that kellie shirley (i think?) said that he told her to always spin around in a circle right before action to get the right level of believable drunkenness
