You could be onto something here, maybe Janine will set Linda up somehow? She only need 25k to give to Linda to make it up to 50k, but by getting the full amount from Nancy maybe that's why

What exams does Lily have? She's 11!
SATS and the 11+ are both taken at 11 and both serious exams.
Things must have changed since I was a kid then cos SATS were no big deal and the 11+ wasn't very common. Certainly didn't warrant a revision day

My children had Saturday school for 6 weeks pre SATS for revision so I think some schools do take it fairly serious.

London still has grammar schools, doesn’t it? So I imagine schools in the area probably take the 11+ quite seriously.
They do SATS round here but there’s not masses of pressure. However, they do expect kids to revise. It builds good habits for the future and gets them used to exams.
