Me neither. But sadly I’m pretty sure I read he won’t be off until Xmas. So the gruesome storyline with Janine lives on.

On the plus side, it’s bound to be a great Xmas storyline. Janine doesn’t have much luck with husbands and the festive season. Remember Archie abandoning her outside in a sexy Santa suit? My money is on a ridiculous Xmas day wedding to Janine that goes wrong. Or him getting Barry-ed.

I watched that episode a few weeks ago on iPlayer and Archie was an evil duck. 🤣 I've always liked Janine but haven't been massively keen on her this time around.

Oh please God no. We need new characters. No one moves in and out of a community that much. Can you name any old characters you're particularly invested in? I'm honestly bored shitless. I only started watching again for Gray, but it's just the same old tit all the time now.

The Mitchell's always in trouble with the law
Ben always brooding over something
Callum always being dopey and woke
Matriarchal Kat and Stacy and their obviously 'most likely' to grow up to be criminals kids
Stuart and Rainie and their never ending sagas - bad upbringings, prostitution, addiction, infertility, breast cancer and God knows what next
The Beale's and their thriving-failing-thriving again empire
Kathy and her frozen face
Rocky and his ability to get away with anything
Sharon and Patrick and their endless supply of money and refuges
Kim the clown and her reverse body dysmorphia
The Carter's whose accents descend further into illiteracy with every episode

Honestly if I lived on that square I would top myself. I'm only holding on for the next hottie to be introduced...🤣

ronnie and roxy was truly the worst decision the
show ever made. there was absolutely no need for them to die, and especially not like that.

if i remember at the time, the actress who played roxy wanted to leave and they’d always promised that they would leave together, which i guess put the writers in an odd position but still - they could have gone off to live somewhere together. they’re characters who would still add so much to the show.

i will never understand why they killed denny. his death ended up being completely pointless because the aftermath was so bad (and focused so much on ben for some bizarre reason) - it really only served to heap more misery onto sharon.

they really wiped out a lot of their younger characters for no purpose. you can see they have a huge deficit in that age group now.
