Haha phils comment 😂I really hope Reiss gets caught for this as I can’t go him & Sonia’s miserable faces. They 2 really get on my goat

I'm fed up of people being falsely accused for crimes. We've already had Dean and Rocky get put away for writers' convenience.

What I want to happen:

Sonia eventually gets questioned and/or arrested for it. During her questioning she mentions the care home debts and other things Reiss has said or done, and she begins to wonder whether Reiss killed Stunning Debbie. She's released on bail and returns home, confronting Reiss, who attacks her and holds her hostage.

Meanwhile, Phil gets Ritchie to do some digging and they find out that Reiss is the reason why SD was in a coma in the first place. He rushes over to confront him, baseball bat in tow, and inadvertently saves the day. He kills Reiss and Sonia is freed.

Sonia then decides to visit Bex for a few months, leaving the square in a black cab, stroking her baby bump while Julia's theme plays.

They are a miserable pair, and they’ve turned poor Sonia into such a drudge. I don’t think she’s even 40 yet but she’s written like an old biddie.
It’s fairly obvious she is going to be put in the frame for this - when she visited Debbie there was a lot of lingering on her touching the pillow and holding her hand etc., but I do find these miscarriage of justice type stories so tedious (and they’ve been done so often it’s even become a cliché).

And the way they are dressing her - when not in uniform - is horrendous. Dowdy! Like a wee trad wife homebody! I'm 40 soon and I'm a jeans and wifebeater (the vest, not the thug) kinda gal. If I wear summer dresses, they're young and flirty, nice bright colours.. I think she's been raided Dot's wardrobe.

Perfect storyline for EE infact it could actually be a storyline - do you have inside info 😂the only thing that would make it better is if Sonia never comes back and penny gets knocked out her wheelchair by the taxi Sonia is leaving in, and she to is a goner

If she’s not dressed in her very short nurses uniform that wouldn’t got a miss on the carry on films they are dressing her like like a dowdy old woman as you say.
 
I’m so close to fast forwarding the Reese/Sonia storyline. It’s sooo boring and depressing, even for Eastenders. Loved Phil’s comment about it not being sudden to Reese though 😂 he’s all heart.

Tommy really is nasty. I thought this storyline was going to be about him being angry at him, but him trying to hurt his brothers was just awful. I really wish they didn’t go this route for his character. He’s one of the strongest actors for the kids but how does his character come back from that? Feels like I’d never be able to route for him again, even as a villain. Also Alfie being as much use as a chocolate fireguard as usual 🙄

So glad the writers have remembered that the Panesars exist again. They’re the strongest part of the soap atm.
