Tbf to them, it’s a very realistic portrayal of spiking from the victim’s perspective.
When I had my drink spiked the last thing I remembered was finishing my drink that I’d left unsupervised, the next moment I woke up in hospital with several lines going into me, zero recollection of anything that happened in between (I never regained any memories) and a very worried looking senior nurse who told me I’d been ‘very poorly’ when I arrived (NHS speak for ‘we thought you might die’). I believe I was very lucky as an old school friend noticed my behaviour in the club and followed me out, so no one SAd or robbed me and he was there when I started fitting.
