Whitney is selfish and unbearable; her heart is in the right place with Britney, but her approach to it is completely wrong! Poor Zack ☹️.

Sonia is equally as selfish and unbearable. The audacity of her being like 🥺😠you didn't tell me you were pregnant🥺😠 after Whitney could've potentially died! I feel sorry for her in a way, but she needs to get a grip. Plus, she's conveniently forgotten that she was a shit mother to Bex. Can't wait for this crap to end

im soooo tired of Whitney.m 😩 Poor Zack. When Whitney barged into the Brittany’s mums “gaff” I was willing her to pick up one of the many empty bottles and smash Whitney in the face with it, so we could just be done with her 😆
 
Just watched yesterday’s and tonight’s, I’ve never been a Whitney fan but wow it’s made me hate her!

She’s beyond over interfering! I couldn’t be dealing with her in real life!

Also annoys me so much how they always make out SS to be useless, I know they are overstretched but the way tv always show them as useless and late to the party really doesn’t help the public misconception about them (as the misconduct cases are already the only news worthy ones , understandable as it’s the gloom and doom news)

Sorry will get off my soapbox now 🤦🏼‍♀️

As someone who works in Social Services I can confirm that it was badly researched and ludicrous. When the police arrested the mother full details of any vulnerable children would have been sent to SS by the police. They would not have been left for random strangers to sort out.

A Social Worker would have been to the property and the kids wouldn't be left in the care of a druggie boyfriend (not even a relative) that they didn't even see 🙄
One glimpse at that place should have meant the children were put under the care of the local authority in the mother's absence. They wouldn't take Whitneys word that she was a registered foster carer without any investigation either. She would have to be cleared to look after them which wouldn't happen in 5 minutes.

SS are very stretched and there are children who fall through the cracks, but that's usually because their parents are very good at covering things up and have others backing up their lies. It's totally unfair to misrepresent them in this way.
 
Have any of the writers ever been to Milton Keynes? That estate was not reminiscent of any part of Milton Keynes.

Yesterday and today’s episodes were like something that awful daytime soap Doctors used to churn out. Is Doctors still on? It was all furrowed brows, awkward pauses and stilted dialogue.

Why is no one showing more concern that a heavily pregnant woman that was just run over by a car is flouncing about the place. Yes Whitney is a pain, but both Zac and Bianca seemed unbothered that she had just got out of hospital. For the love of all that is holy, why was Sonia there? Why is she always there? Please write off/kill off the character. They’ve ruined her character beyond repair.

Yeah I totally agree, that’s why it annoys me so much how SS are always represented

don’t even get me started on how normally they are always shown to be the bad guys and never the people who actually do a lot of good and save many a children from truly awful things

It’s all a massive issue but I won’t derail this thread anymore!
