Saw this on reddit and it is daily star but is it time to kill of Ben Mitchell?

I've read that it's because his partying & love life over shadows his character or something.

I know Ben isn't popular on this thread, but I'm gutted that he's going. I can't tell if it's because of the character, or because Boyfriend Taurus & Max bear a resemblance 😂 (I'm not exaggerating about the resemblance haha)

There's so much I love about this post from Nav but the best bit is the winking and praying emoji for so much more to come in 2024.

Nish can go in so many new and exciting directions now (if he lives) The Panesars are going to be so torn with their loyalties because I'd guess he'll be fragile or needing care, his memory or personality could be changed from the brain bleed
I reckon Priya could step up for him and they'll develop genuine feelings for each other because he'll see her as loyal to him then if they take on Suki and Eve for the businesses etc .
I could also see loads of other alternatives but the main thing is viewers are very interested to see Nish without Suki, the two heads of the Panesars going up against each other rather than she's left him so he needs to die now irl that's not how it goes down .
 
Surely they cannot recast him AGAIN?! As much as I can’t stand Ben, Max is the best of the bunch apart from classic OG Ben of course. It’s hard to see how they write him out though as despite how much he annoys us, he’s a character that deserves more than an exit in the back of a taxi and a trip to Portugal. And if he goes what happens to Callum? Could they finally give him some decent storylines?

They should just retire the character for now and maybe bring him back with a new head in a few years when there’s more for him to do. I think killing him off would be a mistake as he’s such a long running character.

Sounds like the show is a bit of a disaster behind the scenes at the minute. Loads of actors seem to be leaving with hastily written exits. Wonder what’s going on.
