The list of characters I hope is the Xmas body is growing longer by the day I was so excited for Keanu to return and they’ve ruined his character, I don’t even find him attractive anymore. To put poor Shazza through that thought was a new low, I hope she kills him when she finds out, or Phil does. Where does Phil get all this money from? He doesn’t even work.
I couldn’t care less about Reiss and Sonya and their fertility journey, they’ve only been together a few months and most of the time she looks irritated by him.
I think they are writing Rocky out with this ridiculous story line. He’s developed a gambling problem in the space of about two weeks seems to think the way out is setting fire to the caff and claiming insurance, and Kathy won’t notice! How much does he actually owe?

Now you mention it the debt thing makes no sense does it? It was a loan Vinny sorted for the flat, i‘d say maybe rocky took the loan before they decided against the flat but the money would never have been cash in hand surely? It would’ve been paid straight to the deposit/ rent

I don’t think this was his original trajectory. Brian Conley had a falling out with the producers and wanted to leave asap. This is his hastily written exit.

Yes, this is one of the things that doesn’t make sense. The loan was for the deposit to rent a flat from Nish. Surely that means Rocky would never have had the money to gamble away, Nish would have kept it. It was his money, for his flat. And they didn’t move in the end, so there was no need for this loan.
