When someone gives birth on Eastenders they never cast a baby that is appropriate for the part. If Lily had given birth legitimately to a baby of that size she would have died of internal bleeding.
I don’t think they’re allowed to use babies under 8 weeks. I remember reading an article about call the midwife as they use some sort of prosthetic babies!

fully agree with this.

they’re absolutely planting the seeds of her struggling - the “i don’t know what to do with her now” and the look she gave when ricky was holding the baby. there already seems to be some potential conflict with ricky seemingly already attached too.
Yes, I agree. I think it's quite realistic that she would be frightened. She really is only a kid, herself. Great actress, the birth scenes were so well done.
The baby does look almost ready to eat solid food 😁 but that's the case with most soap and tv babies anyway. And no doubt, the room she gave birth in, was pristine afterwards, although they did at least produce a towel! I always remember Kylie in Corrie giving birth in Gail's front room, she went away in the ambulance afterwards and the room was as clean as a pin. 😁

Ginas Will Smith moment was the highlight of todays episode closely followed by Phil delightfully loving that moment and doing his laugh at Ian.
Theo the wrongun telling Lily lies made me so angry I dropped a c bomb or two, he’s going to ramp it up now he’s taking a flat on in the square, aren’t those flats Jacks though?

Same but I’d be all Dot Cotton: “oh you know me, I ain’t one to gossip…” 😂
I say this to my friends all the time and they look at me like this 😂

I never thought I'd be enjoying it so much! When Gina punched Ian my jaw dropped.

And it's not just the explosive storylines that are great. I'm loving all of the general scenes. Karen in the laundrette today had me rolling, and I really enjoyed Ian and Alfie talking about chicken and waffles hahaha
the Gina scene was my favourite because that’s how I would be if someone had a go at my sister 😂

I’m gonna miss Karen. I’ve liked Bernie more since they put her in the cafe. But I don’t understand why she is being kept on but Karen isn’t.
