There's definitely something weird about Reiss and he shouldn't have put Saint Sonia down like that (annoying as she is).

Can I add that I'm getting very tired of Felix, he's a one note character with the depth of a puddle.

The Slaters seemed to have a million people on their pub quiz team so it wasn't much of a feat to beat Reiss and Sonia 🙄

I'm not sure if they know what to do with Reiss, he started off as a comic figure which didn't really work. Then he was a bumbling idiot with a wife in a coma now he's showing signs of having anger issues, what next? Cross dressing in Sonia's underwear?
 
They just use Sonia as filler, need a break from the misery that is watching a young mum die? Plonk Sonia and her medical/social work degree to fill a few mins. Tired of watching walking Jezza Kyle headline Stacey, show Sonia giving diet advice to Bernie. It’s ridiculous. They don’t know what to do with her character, she is just there to fill the space between the main storylines.
 
Stacey is awful, constantly shouting her mouth off, all these money troubles despite the fact that multiple adults live in the house and the fact she has a wife who is working for Walford's current wealthiest family?

Lily is awful. If I'd spoken to my parents like that at her age, I'd know about it. And that's without being knocked up at 12. Don't get me wrong, I'd be upset and angry if my mum had to resort to naughty pics to feed us as kids, but she's hardly in a position to criticise when she's got herself knocked up at 12 and is expecting the family to help her raise the baby.

The whole Slater storylines are just unreliable. No family would let one person carry the financial burden, and no family would be as chilled as they are about a 12 year old being pregnant.

Wonder if there's more to it. Freddie saying something about him acting like his dad, maybe itll encourage him to seek out his real dad again?
Thought it was weird that Freddie was saying his mum was talking about Jean but in the 2010 episodes stacey goes 'this is Kat!' to Jean. Yet also when Stacey came in they obviously knew her as a cousin from when they were much younger, backstories are just inconsistent. Also when did Little Mo move to Essex from Devon lmao

Everytime you think his character is making progress he shows you otherwise. It's the Ben show and it really annoys me! Poor Lola is dying and he's making false promises to Lexi even though he's been made aware there's nothing they can do to help prolong her life. I really don't care for the character... I have zero empathy for him and the writers are hell bent at trying to make us feel sorry for him. 🤣

exactly! the character has no personal growth from any of his many many traumas and he’s selfish and horrible to the people around him for no reason (and we’re meant to believe that a moist towel like callum is madly in love with him?) the actor really grates on me too. every storyline he’s in would be hugely improved by his absence.

if i could remove one character from the current cast it would be him 🤣 i know there are other more worthy candidates but he annoys me SO MUCH.

💯!!

I preferred Harry Reid (the previous Ben) over this one. Harry gave a stronger performance and I found him much more likeable but I feel like his character is always going to be problematic.

An honourable mention to Charlie Jones aka you need slapping down Ben haha. I think I might cry if he ever came back. 🤣
 
I’d love to see Ben get killed off but he’d come back with a new head in five years. They’d have to make sure in was an on-screen death. How dare he be such a dick? I know he’s upset about his cousin/baby mama but he’s an actual murderer so shouldn’t be judging anyone.

Glad to see Whit is over her trauma and has become the wise woman of Walford. I’m predicting good things for her, until she marries Zach and his head falls off on their wedding day or something.

He’s a whiny selfish little boy!! If he stormed into my house when I was on my deathbed I’d be telling him to get to duck!
