I can’t understand why Stacey is so broke with so many adults on the house working, they obviously wanted a cost of living story line but maybe should have been Karen who is always broke and got her hours cut so would be more believable, Stacey has all those adults contributing and child support from Martin and working and she can’t afford a shirt for her daughter? Her reaction to Kat helping was ridiculous, especially giving her the money from Martin, not sure it was worth him working abroad when all he came back with was the cost of a fridge. She keeps going on about another mouth to feed but Lily will get child benefit and she could take maintenance money from Jack but again she cuts her nose off to spite her face.

Fair enough, I’d say that really close 🤷🏽‍♀️ I feel like they don’t show their relationship enough tho tbh, so the scene came off weird.
I think when Kat tries to chat to Lily, it doesn’t seem as forced 🤣

This is the weirdest set up for me given that Jay and Honey were together for so long and Jay got close to the kids. Its also always the messiest of houses, not decorated nicely and just doesn't suit Honey at all.

This! Its not as if Stacey was ever high flying to have pride anyways. If it was Sharon I'd understand, shes always had a bit of money and 'princesslike' but Stacey!! And the constant ' I'm trying to be a good mum' but not really guiding her 12 year old daughter in pregnancy and the repucussions of going through with it and explaining the advantages of termination for her age imo doesn't make her a great mum.

I, like others have said, can see Whitney adopting or being obsessed with Lily's baby which means we will probs see more and more of Whitney. ERRGH!!

They definitely live in a flat but I can't remember where it is or who had the flat before them.

Honey/Billy/Jay and Lola all living together is really weird considering that Jay and Honey were a couple for a while. It makes them seem like a weird cult 😄

Ben and Callum used to have the most ridiculous living situation in EE, even by soap standards. They were sleeping on an air bed in the living room of the flat above the funeral parlour with Rainie, Stuart, Vi and the baby. They both have jobs so I have no idea why they couldn’t rent a flat. Do they not have Rightmove in Walford? Or whatever the non-copyrighted equivalent is. Houseshift?

Not only did Honey and Jay have a relationship but that Billy and Lola are related. So she's now married to her "pops" partners ex
 
The Jay/Honey/Billy triangle was ridiculous, the fact it’s all now forgotten and they all live happily adds to that.

Patsy Kensit can’t act for toffee, she never has, she was blonde and pretty and that gave her a foothold in Hollywood for a while as the pretty wife/killed off love interest but she was pretty much ornamental. Watching her in the Lola storyline is painful.


Seriously can we just have less Whitney? EE trying to steer the storyline towards Whitney v Lilly is worrying. Is she going to try and adopt her baby?

Stacey is not a good mum, her 12 year old is pregnant and that’s okay by Stacey as long as Lilly’s choices are respected lol. She has several children by several dads and raised by dimwit Martin who she has also cheated on at various times. She is an ex offender who married a lesbian just to lessen her sentence or her parole conditions. She is turning down help from family because of some misplaced pride which actually is more like jealousy.

She barely mentions Kheerat despite him being so involved with her and kids. She almost landed herself back in jail by stealing and now she will be doing sex work instead of asking any of the other able bodied adults who live in her house for support. She is a shit mum by most standards.
 
It honestly felt like I had missed 2/3 episodes when watching the Stacey and Kat scenes. Why is she suddenly better than accepting help from family but it willing to go back to jail for stealing. They could have taken this ridiculous storyline in the route that she doesn't want to accept help for some bizarre reason but is willing to do it for her kids. They've always even close and now because Kat is with Phil and going out for dinner Stacey is kicking off 😂. I wonder if the actors get their scripts and just roll their eyes.
