Christmas number 1 1994 was Stay Another Day. The day Sharon signed divorce papers from Grant.

Why was that entire episode filmed in such a bizarre way. The lighting and the angles were terrible. And the cringe lock in, it was like a school drama show.
I wonder if they'll go on to regret showing this flash forward so early. People, at least I will, will lose interest soon enough I'm amongst everyone forgetting about Mick, and Whitney stomping about.

The Tasmin Archer classic Sleeping Satellite was played so my guess is a UFO landed in Albert Square, scared the women and they killed the alien that came out of it.
 
The hand is definitely white as far as I can tell (just watched the clip again on Twitter). The camera focuses on Denise for longer than the others and she's holding the broken bottle, so I reckon she's the killer and maybe the dead guy is Jack??

Linda has a cut lip though, so I reckon the guy attacked her and was killed as a result. I don't think Jack really fits that theory.

I usually get it totally wrong when I try to figure these things out!

I watched it again and think we see his hand when she lifts it - but not 100% sure now.

That’s probably why Kat wasn’t included in the flash forward. Jessie sometimes gets herself in trouble in real life so the producers didn’t want to take any chances although she needs to be around for her wedding anyway
