scarlett’s little “but i love her” about janine and the way her face lit up when shirley said she didn’t think janine was an evil person deep down - i know we’re not a thread of lambchop fans but i thought the actress did a good job in that scene.

It was a good scene, Shirley was fantastic. Janine was always desperate to be loved even though she couldn't really love anyone properly herself (including her daughter). Poor little Scarlett deserves a happier ending so I hope she goes to Germany and lives a better life with her uncle Ricky.

Also it wasn't really Janine's fault that Mick died. He should have just thrown her out after her deception was discovered and reported her to the police over the money scam. Mick and Linda could then have just run the Vic together while he got a divorce.

Sid Owen had a freak accident a couple of years ago which fractured his jaw and needed surgery. Presumably the surgery from that has given him those marks under his eyes

OMG that's dreadful. Cannot even begin to imagine how painful that must have been. Poor guy.
 
I seem to remember they announced Kim (Tameka) was leaving at the end of her contract around the same they announced Danny Dyer was leaving (early 2022) but nothing has been mentioned since.

Edit, just googled and can find no mention of it. Perhaps I dreamt it 😆

I agree. I remember when they paired her up with Howie and then his son moved in, I thought it seemed a bit strange to be doing that if she was leaving early 2023 (as I thought had been announced). But apparently I have made it up because I see no reference to her leaving anywhere online! I know she's a marnite character but I really like her. Are you a fan @Scotch Mist ?
