I still love Phil because Steve McFadden is an excellent actor when given the right material. Remember how good he was in the past with his addiction/drunk scenes. I do agree that he's getting a bit too old for the hard man act now. A younger man like Keanu would surely be able to get the better of him in a fist fight 😄 Phil is much better when he's using his brains to outsmart and double cross his opponents. I would prefer him to be more of a family man now than carrying on with the gangster stuff.

No spoiler as I don’t mention who the dad is.

Having seen todays episode (04/01) I also think lily has said who the dad is, purely to get Stacey to back off. Could be wrong but it just seems convenient. And opens the door for a future storyline if they decide to reveal who it really is/Lilly wasn’t telling the truth.

She seemed to know she was pregnant too. On New Year’s Eve when she was throwing up in the garden, Stacey says “oh you’ve had too much to drink” and lilly says “no it’s not that”.

same. steve mcf comes into his own with family scenes now - i enjoy him with kat and his scenes with the younger kids are always sweet too. they just keep rehashing the same stories with him: i’m sick of hearing about him and sharon, how ben will never be good enough for him etc.

like you say, it’s completely unbelievable that at his age he would still be able to instil the same level of fear, keanu could probably take both him and ben in a fight and skip away with not a mark on him 🤣 they need to wind this stuff up.

She still may not have known she was pregnant. If someone hadn’t had any alcohol and someone said you’ve had too much to drink you’re going to say no as you know you’ve not been drinking. It doesn’t mean she knew why she was throwing up
