Eamonn Holmes

This is plausible. Him an Irish pensioner, more likely had a religious upbringing and didn't discuss sex and Ruth outgoing and vibrant.

He's 64 and so is she, not pensioners yet. Ill health can play a terrible toll on a person and in this area, I do feel sorry for Eamon and Ruth too. It can't have been easy.

As an aside, I don't view Ruth as vibrant, to me she is caught in a fashion time warp and her hair has been the same style for years. Also being on Loose women is hardly indicative of outgoing.

Her hair is awful, someone called it a 'helmet' hairstyle! The amount of hairspray she must use, looks so stiff....

Although I am not of fan of Ruth, I did like it when she said once that she never shows up to Eamonn's kids sports day and the like.
She felt it was not her place, and that their mother (Eamonn's ex-wife) should attend with Eamonn.
I liked that.

2 years away from pension age puts him almost in that age bracket, the one as I tried to explain, and his Irish heritage that may mean he has old fashioned values in the sex department.
Also, having myself had to take on the role of full time carer to someone I wasn't related to makes me feel a bit sad to read comments mentioning his ill health may be the reason for the split. I don't think most couples are that heartless or if they are it's disappointing. Marriage or not, to leave someone when they are most vulnerable is cruel. It's a tough gig and if roles were reversed you may find yourself alone but that's no excuse or reason.

Eamon may not be popular but speaks the truth and that says alot, rather than Ruth, who does come across as self important and arrogant at times, Eamon might take jibs at her sometimes but I can recall many TM moments were she quipped at him with something.
I hadn't really heard of him until jack monroe was on this morning. His face says everything without saying a word, then he finally speaks to hurry her up.

Those two seemed like they are in different places, one a corporate entity follow the line the other in their gives zero fucks stage.

Share! What is he following
---
Haha just looked. Maybe he doesn't realise people can see these accounts that he follows
Wonder if it's possible someone else may have access to his account and did it to make him look "bad". Not that he should look bad in my opinion. He's a free agent now and what accounts he follows is up to him. Personally I would have made a burner account instead of following from the "main" one but hey ho.

I am absolutely living for all this. This man has always come across as a complete a**hole imo. I never knew what she saw in him. He just seems nasty, and now obsessed with his health difficulties. I hope Ruth sticks to her guns and gives socials nothing, whilst he of course will sell his entire soul to the mirror and the sun because he knows he is washed up and there are only so many botham-cast-off arthritis aid adverts that you can steal.*

*thanks for reading my little rant there

Well, he's a daytime tv presenter, I think being an a-hole is pretty much a prerequisite trait. You have to be at least a bit of a narcissistic, self-absorbed, attention-seeking egotist to want to 'work' in television. I know I'm generalizing, but wanting to be on television takes a special kind of 'LOOK AT MEEEEE' personality. Daytime TV is the worst, because you're essentially selling your soul to advertising ... you just exist to fill the airtime between adverts and sell whatever products people are coming on your show to shift, you're essentially the modern equivalent of a double-glazing salesman.

I have no time for either of them. Never have. No way this divorce will be amicable if passive-agressive Eamon has anything to do with it.

Just noticed he's unfollowed a couple of the accounts now, the ones that were mentioned in the news articles.
The stockings and heels account and the sexy office workers account have gone.
But he's still following some of the models.

It all seems slightly ridiculous especially considering he was doing the morning newspaper review on GB News yesterday with a former Dominatrix who also used to offer services on Adultwork.

People really should be more careful or set up a burner account if they want to follow stuff like that. I found out a former work colleague was following an account dedicated to men’s hairy arses amongst other questionable stuff. I could never look at him in the same way again 😂

I presume Eamon finds 'sexy secretaries' a turn-on. Given the point we're at in our depraved media environment (Huw Edwards, Russell Brand, Schofield etc. etc.), I'll settle for that kink in a heartbeat. Besides, I'm pretty sure Ruth knew what he was into and didn't have a problem with it ...
