Dr Lisa Cunningham

Very surprised she said it. She hasn’t helped the vaccine promotion by saying it. Will be interesting to see if she gives her reasons
Dying to hear her reasons. At the moment I think it’s very bad form for a doctor to be saying she won’t vaccinate when it’s for the greater good to get as many people as possible vaccinated - but I’ll reserve judgement until she gives her reasons. Dr Laura GP has also said she’s not vaccinating her kids straight away

Dr.Laura wouldn’t influence me at all but I was thrown by Lisa saying it.

Totally thrown by her saying that. I am in no way vaccine hesitant and am firmly pro science but a doctor as qualified as she is saying she won't vaccinate definitely would give me pause. It is very irresponsible of her unless she can back up her reasons with medical evidence. Actually has made me quite anxious about it and now the registration is open and I know my husband will be right let's get them registered ASAP.

I was very surprised when she said she was not vaccinating her children. I was all set to register my kids today but have held off now so I can hear her reasons. I really like her so was shocked when she said she was not vaccinating her kids. As for Dr Laura, nothing surprises me with her 🙄🙄

Really now not vaccinating kids ..... my way or no way... remember when we couldn't travel and she decides to take a job in England... and last Christmas when uk flights were banned so she and yes many others came through the north..

do what ye want theres plenty of advice out there just remember if kids get it & end up in hospital itl be someone like her giving out that they should have been vaccinated...

Everyone who is second guessing registering their own children, please seek advice from your own doctor or a paediatrician instead of following Lisa. I know she's fairly reliable re Covid advice but she is not a paediatrician and her children may have genuine reasons for not getting vaccinated. Every child is different, don't get your advice from someone on the internet, no matter how sane they seem.

Guys please …. You might like Lisa and her Instagram but at the end of the day this is no bigger than ‘big news coming soon’. She dangled a carrot but a serious one. I imagine her reasoning is nothing more than the low percentage of children that get covid quite bad, along with no long term evidence on the vaccine yet and she just wants to wait and see. Cos that’s where I am at but mine is still a toddler! I have to say I think it’s wrong of any medical professional to throw their opinion about on vaccines unless they are the immunology or scientist who came up with it. Lisa is the one whose going back to UK once a month to continue her skills 🧐 so I wouldn’t be following the gospel according to lisa who will be on to sell energy drinks again in a few weeks

I feel this is going to be the exact reason. Dr niamh lynch on Instagram put it right. You're protecting others as well as your children. She's a pediatrician and as she put it vaccines are her bread and butter

and I would rather the opinion of a paediatrician who deals with kids and has minded sick kids with or without covid for the last 2 years. Lisa’s experience of covid has been to refer them to the red or green line in a and e. Actually she doesn’t even do that the admin staff do. The UK was pre hospital and I doubt it was any covid cases at the side of the road. I absolutely hate using your stance as a doctor to influence an opinion like this when it isn’t your area of expertise. Like dr Laura selling skincare simply because she is a GP a wet week. I think it’s so dangerous and I am not impressed.

hahaha she is rattled. some of that may be in response to other doc but rest to here id imagine.

Thats a hell of a lot of I... me me me me me....

but its ok if she doesn't vaccinate them and they get really sick she prob be in England so wont have to deal with it.

she has a chip on her shoulder maybe she shouldn't have come back on
