See the newest con ? Sign up to my newsletter for free and be the first to hear about my webinar ? Oh, my webinar is €20-30. Remember I’m not your GP but you can still pay to view my webinar and ask me questions. Even though I’m not your GP 🧐
What a swiz, who would pay money to listen to someone essentially discussing things that we can Google. She can't give specific advice so I don't really see why she expects people to pay? I don't really get the point of it.

She has completely lost her way and has got far too greedy!
That's an easy grand to make if enough people sign up.

Looking to make quick money now from anxious parents despite being quick to remind everyone constantly she’s not their doctor. She hasn’t the voice/ personality for a webinar anyway anyone who is monotone would be an awfully long / boring listen ... she’s looking for a quick buck to rent her new clinic shur she showed herself working out costs last week.

PS I don’t think the Medical Council would be in favour

I think she’s at home all day and has lost touch with reality. Medical information is so readily available anymore with the internet (yes, I get there’s google MD 🙄 that’s never accurate), but essentially what she’s offering without taking into account patient’s med history, socioeconomic circumstances, and experiences to date, is essentially the same thing. To try and charge for it is taking the biscuit a bit.

Exactly she’s very quick to say ‘ I don’t know your history ‘ but then how can you try and charge me for a webinar about my kids being sick this winter if you don’t already know that one of them might be asthmatic or something else - I think she’s trying to sell the fact that she’s a doctor but the truth is there is more than enough medical info on covid and this year online from reputable sources

Everything she does is always “for you guys”

Making out like she’s doing us a favour. Another one who uses baby/covid/headlines to reel in followers. Something must pay for the new clinic I guess 😳 really would love to know what the medical council think of doctors using their position to sell medical healthcare/advice without seeing someone in person / selling skincare without seeing their skin!

sorry now, but she’s just posted that she’ll be doing a q&a for Nuk on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, despite her plastering her Sleepyhead and all its fashionable accessories all over her page, despite it being against safe sleep guidelines....i can’t even....

That post on the nuk page has about 10 likes - I’d say she has notions of being as popular as other medical instagrammers.... each to their own if she finds something against the health and safety guidelines works for her but she shouldn’t be showing it on her story so blasè because someone else might copy her ‘because she is a GP’ and they may not be so lucky!

Did you sign up for newsletter ? I did. It goes like this :

Don’t forget my NUK AD 🤬
Don’t forget to check out the posts i did for you guys during the week they were kindly sponsored🤬
You can buy tickets to hear/see me on BEO with Baby 🤬
Obagi skincare link for sale on my site (even though I haven’t seen your skin)🤬
Medik8 skin care (as above, link to buy despite not knowing your skin) 🤬
Desperately tagging Caroline Herons again🤬
Link to Amazon AF link for newborn toys🤬
Link to Amazon AF link for a gifted swaddlebag she’s using. Hey why not buy one so Dr Laura can profit from you even though she didn’t buy her own!🤬
Ends on a couple (TWO) of ASOS bits to distract from the fact the newsletter is one big sales book.

Good grief i follow her on Instagram but i just seem to flick by her stories lately. As for bringing a new baby on trips in a pandemic is behyond me. And moaning about the 2 older girls not sleeping my ekdest is 9 and still doesn't sleep right... my 12 month old does because he has a strict...ish! Routine.

Sleepy head are not recommended for over night sleeping it clearly states it on the box. ...

And the boot gate scandal..... what size any normal person on mat leave would not have 440 to spend on boots

Totally, fine to decide to use something like the Sleepyhead if you know the risks and choose to, but tagging them (hoping for freebies i always assume) and sharing how great she thinks it is then doing a q&a on SIDS seems disingenuous and dare i say it hypocritical. I know she
has mentioned they are against safe sleep guidelines on her posts, which just makes it even more bizarre to me that she would do this q&a.

It’s like when she shows the kids in the back of the car, she used to always make a point of saying something along the lines of “oh the middle one is usually rear facing we just didn’t bother today” but the kid is never rear facing- ever! Which is fine, my kids aren’t any more either and are of a similar age, but it’s like she knows it’s fashionable for insta-mums to bang on about rear facing car seats, so she pretends they still do it.

She is a walking QVC channel- its just buy this buy that. Obagi and Medik8 are specialist (expensive) skincare brands - she clearly thinks everyone following her has the same salary bracket as her. She was only ever increasing her engagement to set up her clinic and flog skincare. I am finding her more and more disingenuous as the weeks go on.

None of the other medical instagrammers are as interested in profiting from Instagram as she is it seems
Fully agree she is all DOLLAR DOLLAR. Literally every holiday this summer was sponsored and she hasnt paid for a thing (bar the 400euro boots) since the child was born. I would think she is super tight with money. Ive said it before and I will say it again- for someone who allegedly knows alot about skincare and uses really expensive brands her skin is not that nice and doesnt look well at all. I dont look at her and think WOW great skin. Its only ok at best. Not a ringing endorsement for the brands.

You have put this together so well. It has only ever been to grow more ‘shoppers’ as followers. I find her content bland. Other medical accounts are much more interesting or have client interaction. On one hand Laura says ‘ don’t message me I’m not your GP it’s not ethical’ and the next thing it’s ‘if you pay for a webinar with me I can answer questions for you on sick children this summer’ - so which is it Laura ? How is it more ethical if they pay you? In a way, this is almost like a dodgy set up doctors appointment but you’re with a group online. The free holidays showed nothing to me I find her smug & tight and she can’t go a day without a #gift or #ad
