Looking forward to seeing the before and after once it’s had a chance to settle down. I’d definitely consider something drastic if the results were worth it.

Surely it’s very traumatic for your skin though? What is the point of all those expensive creams she’s layers on every day if you still have to resort to such an invasive procedure. What do all the rich creams do if they don’t smooth the skin? Couldn’t Botox do the same thing? I’m genuinely intrigued. She and her skin look traumatised.

Botox can only be used for forehead, 11s and around the eye. Ciara Kelly got the same thing done as Laura recently but in the eye area only. Pretty much an Immediate effect somehow, but should take months. Amazing result. Worth it! I got tweakments done and just WFH with the camera off.

I am. I don’t think I’d ever do it - but I’m interested all the same
 
I think Ciara Kelly has too much botox and I do not like the results from her recent treatment, it would put me off to be honest.
I get Botox and I do not like it when my eyebrows go too high, I think it’s so obvious and aging looking in a different way to wrinkles.
There is a particular “look” and the pillow face that Ciara now has is not nice in my opinion.
Let’s see what happen with Laura, but the down time is significant and not all of us can work from home. My kids would be wondering what had happened to me too!
 
Okay I guess I am curious to see the results. Looks like an awful lot of trauma so I’m presuming the results will be fantastic 🤷🏻‍♀️
Dr L herself is a dose of the highest order so she just annoys me.
My one question though is that shouldn’t that procedure be administered by a dermatologist? She isn’t one and Victoria certainly isn’t. Victoria isn’t listed on her website at all as far as I can see. She can say that the procedure should be ‘medic led’ thus covering herself having it done by Victoria but I would not be letting just anyone administer that treatment on me.

This is what I’m wondering and why I asked what Victoria is qualified in. Surely you either go to a beautician/aesthetician or you spend more €€€ and go to a derm. I’m not sure where Laura and Victoria sit on that scale…
 
she would be stone mad to be taking any chances. victoria would have to have some sort of qualification. she would have to have trained with the brands/machines etc in order to be insurable

You ok hun? Do you have anything worthwhile to add to the thread? There’s nothing remotely 😂 about your comment. It’s the most basic, pathetic response to be found on any tread you might dip into. Every Tom Dick and Harry are accused of being the person, even if it’s multiple posters with ‘000s of posts each. A bit of cop on would quickly lead most people to the conclusion that the person being discussed probably isn’t posting thousands of messages on tattle under a variety of personas. Not even Laura who we know works feck all is likely to have the free time to dedicate to that. Sadly common sense isn’t that common.You’re the new member here, not me.
I’ve often criticised her, but shock horror, some people are actually interested in seeing what happens when you burn the face off yourself and call it a treatment.

Okay ,okay ..duly chastened .Point taken!
Am definitely not a hun however !
Just slightly jaded by the charlatans flogging all these treatments which are very expensive ,with minimal results .
If there were outstanding treatments available for aging ,don’t you think everyone would know about them by now ?
Sadly ,the results are usually objectively minimal .And I am sad.Would LOVE a wonder treatment myself !
( for anyone interested check out Dr.Natalia Spierings ..an ACTUAL Dermatologist who debunks the claims of many of these so called treatments)
Seems to me they prey on the insecurities of women at often an insecure time of life = peri menopause.
And why bother with all the expensive creams
if all it takes is a facial burn ?
We will look back perhaps on these extreme treatments with the same disbelief that leeches were part of routine medical practice once upon a time .
(Aside from a little Botox/retinols and sunscreen ...these work ..spend money on a holiday methinks (or therapy !)
