I thought it might have been a false flag for about half a second, then I thought about it. No one would hire someone to shoot them in the ear. If that bullet was one centimetre to the right, Trump would be dead. I don't know how that isn't obvious to people - he wouldn't hire someone to ACTUALLY shoot at his head.

I'm not right wing and I know he's a horrible insane narcissist, but damn, that photo of him covered in blood raising his fist. That just won him the election. That's going to be a famous American photograph in history.

How on earth was someone able to get in a position to do this, never mind with a rifle?! Surely the whole area should have been sealed & protected for a period of time before he was due out.

Can only guess there will be some repercussions from at least one of his armed followers in the days to come.

Makes our political & public landscape feel like kids playtime, must be a lot of people on a high sense of alert now. I can't see anything to stop this shitshow from carrying on in the same fashion though.

I know that, but the specific quote here was "God stopped the unthinkable from happening." The unthinkable to him, is him being killed. By his logic, God allowed the other people to be hurt and injured.
