There isn't a pcr test available anywhere for days. Be it hse or private. A friend of mine was home from abroad for Xmas, had her return pcr booked weeks ago, all her family here came down with covid so she couldn't see them, she stayed in her hotel room and tried to bring her flight forward to get an earlier flight back, could get the flight but couldn't get private pcr test for love nor money. Waited on her original date and got a negative and flew out yesterday. I didn't even get to see her, just incase I had it unknowingly and she would be stranded here for longer.

Not true - I booked one this morning for tomorrow, then another slot came available for today so I cancelled tomorrows. People need to be persistent.

No HSE PCR tests for her age group now as I understand it (open to correction). Antigen and isolation.

If positive antigen she will need a pcr now!
Symptoms no positive antigen 5-39 no pcr
40 up symptoms pcr

Thats BS, theres no way they did an antigen sitting in the car in the driveway IMO

I beg to differ.. I did one on the couch this afternoon. So used to doing them at this stage its like second nature!

As precious as she was before the break up I’d say it got worse after and it has stayed that way now.. I’d say none of the family will say boo to her

Well there wasn't in Dublin from 26th to 31st when her original test was booked for or she would have taken it and gone back earlier the originally planned.

I just had covid, confirmed with the hse and wasn’t told it omicron not sure what brand antigen she’s using but amazing it told her the exact strain

Whilst we’re on the topic lol… she also says “thongs” instead of “tongs” ie curling tongs, which is so annoying and Brown Thomas like the “th” sound eg “Thumb-as” (although I’m not from the south so wasn’t sure if that’s how it’s pronounced?) I’d have guessed Brown “Tom-as”.
