I think she has a great opportunity to use her platform to speak out about the surrogacy route to parenthood - if that is how it happened for her and obviously we don’t know or don’t have a right to know (but I won’t lie I’m really curious!). All without showing her baby’s face or documenting every little thing like some do. Rosanna Davison seems to do a great job of not showing her children’s faces and it can be done if you’re serious about protecting their identity.

It must be surrogacy.....Cork is small and Dr parsnip is even smaller , someone would have defo spotted her if she was pregnant. And doesn't she be on live a 3 whatever its called now.....no way it would be hidden for 9 months.

On a serious note maybe with her eating disorder she didn't want to be pregnant and put on any bit of weight thus having a surrogate

Dr parsnip 😂

When it comes to someone’s health and if they decide to share certain information about it I generally would believe them especially if it comes to things like fertility, cancer etc…it’s rarely something people make up. Also if she said she was unable to carry her own baby I would again take her at her word…no matter whether those reasons are medical or mental health related.

She's removed her 'cancer journey' from her highlights. I don't recall her ever mentioning having a tracheletomy (unless it was in her stories at one stage) as I mentioned before- I've been through similar, and her experiences were very different to mine (& other friends) Her overall journey at the time raised a lot of questions among those of us who have been there. I don't doubt she experienced a cancer-related episode, her diagnosis and alleged treatment just appeared questionable.

I honestly don't care how they've ended up parents, I wish them the very best on this amazing journey.

What university did you get your medical degree in that taught you about “that stitch thing”? I’m all for slagging off her behaviour, mannerisms, etc but why comment on her health if you haven’t a clue what you’re talking about?
I mean if she could have had the stitch if they only removed the cervix so she still could have had her own baby

If you mean a post-trachelectomy cerclage, they certainly exist, but they’re far from a reliable solution. And while she may have used a surrogate, it was most likely with an embryo made from her eggs and her husband’s sperm.

Either way, I’m pleased for her and wish her all the best.

I don't know if she had cervical cancer, I've heard there's a lot of debate over the accuracy of her account of it. If she has had the cervix removed, it might not be possible to stitch what remains or maybe she doesn't want to embark on a pregnancy when the chance of incompetent cervix would be quite high. I wouldn't blame her for not wanting to get pregnant herself if she was advised that her cervix would likely open prematurely and there wouldn't be much to be done for her.

She also has maybe had failed ivf/miscarriages already. Who knows.

I'd love to know more just out of curiosity but I can't see her sharing too much of it.

Nope its still there! You just gotta scroll so far over to find it.
I came across her once in CUMH and she was the absolutely the most uncomfortable doctor I came across in caring for a pregnancy.
Whatever about her swinging her Chanel bag, I think by her own admittance children didn't suit her lifestyle as recently as 2 years ago. I'd love so much to see her covered in milk sick or battling a stubborn toddler in a supermarket in a few years time :)
