So to confirm, it's definitely not Stormzy is 72 years old?

I'm intrigued why they've worded it as "pressing his forehead against hers". Since he's been found guilty they should be okay to legally call it a headbutt, surely?
I’m not condoning it or trying to minimise it but I’m wondering if he put his forehead to hers in an intimidating way but didn’t pull his head back and strike her with it? Forehead to forehead would still be assault (I think) but to headbutt someone you maybe need to hit them to their face with your forehead.

ETA - I googled it

Don’t think it was a head butt, think he had his head pushed against hers, his face right in front of hers pushing his forehead against hers - which is pretty aggressive and intimidating anyway, and more so if he was shouting at her or holding onto her.

Thats a fair point, but I dont think a court would rule it libel to call that a headbutt.

Having said that, libel judgements in this country make no sense, so who knows.

But they can’t call it that if he didn’t headbutt her - not in terms of libel but the law. If I held a knife to your chest, I couldn’t be convicted of stabbing you if I didn’t penetrate your skin with the knife in either a court of law or libel.

This is the criminal trial, is he suing someone for libel separately?

I was talking more of the news media being careful not to use the word "headbutt", presumably in fear of being sued for libel. Pushing someone to the ground using your head and then claiming it was libel to say it was a headbutt seems unlikely to stand up.

So more people going out of their way to not be sued than anyone actually suing anyone.

Ah I see, you were way ahead of me I wasn’t thinking of it from a reporting point of view.

I’m guessing the press will have been in court so will know exactly what he’s been charged with and convicted of and maybe they’re not using the word ‘headbutt’ because he hasn’t been convicted of that? If they were to say he had headbutted her when he’s not been convicted of that, then yeah I can imagine he might want to sue them.
