Now that my course is almost done and I’m applying for jobs and getting ready to go back to work, I went looking for dress pants/trousers on Friday and discovered that here in Canada with so many people working from home now, 3-4 of the places I would have normally bought them from in the past are now all dressy looking leggings and lounge pants. Ummm no, I can’t work on a hospital ward or in a medical centre in those.

My mum was an exec secretary back in the day and she had her jaw dropped looking with me. I think retailers forget that not all women want to wear form fitting leggings or trackies to the office no matter how cool or the in thing it might be and not all employers allow it.

Same with what they think we should wear on holiday.

Yes it's a problem. In the UK, Primark usually does have some plain black/navy pants for low prices but whether they'll have shirts/blouses/jackets etc is more iffy. Depends on location and time of year. Buying a professional wardrobe is difficult and hard to buy on a budget. I'm full-time WFH and my company is run by dudes in hoodies and ballcaps so no real dress code. I live in an EU capital where work clothes are found in pricey department stores still so I try to stock up in Primark for the few times I need them now. Thank heavens I'm no longer working in the law firm that wouldn't hire anyone who showed up in obvious fast fashion, wearing an Adidas jacket into the interview would ruin your chances the minute you stepped in the door. the b@strds paid admin staff 22k in London and expected us to wear the same tailored suits as the solicitor on six figures. Grrrrr

watched the latest vlog and I swear I didn't nod off, was drinking coffee actually but now that's it's over I'm like what did I just watch? It's just all blurred together into a big ball of blah....She really needs to take an editing course or something because it was a long enough vlog but it just rambles on, inoffensive background noise but no point or plot or structure.

OMG, I remember those days! Sweating my arse off on the Tube in the middle of summer because God forbid you didn't wear a blazer or suit jacket over your dress from River Island, Next, etc.

The play suits accentuate all the wrong parts of her body. She also has a habit of wearing them and clothing in general that’s off the shoulder which is a very unforgiving look for most women. The least postural issue or bit of flab and you look dumpy or “like a linebacker” as the Americans would say. I don’t know why she loves the play suits, maybe she thinks that because they are loose that they are forgiving? I wouldn’t care if she wore them for comfort but she loves panning the camera over them and showing them to us as though her “look if the day” was smashing. She’d look much better if she updated her wardrobe and/or improved the cut of the play suits. I get uncomfortable watching those outfit reveals because im just like nope…it’s dreadful and doesn’t suit your body but then I feel bad because she thinks she looks lovely.
She likes playsuits because they require little overall outfit planning. She’s too lazy and preoccupied with straightening her hair in the parks to plan top/bottom outfits. I’ll admit when traveling they can have their benefits, but they don’t fit her body type well and are tacky.

I do like a good playsuit myself, but I don’t like having to totally undress when using the restroom. Especially not here in the States where the gap in the bathroom stalls can be wide enough to pass a hand through. Nobody needs to see me in just bra in a human’s most vulnerable state. 😂

She always makes a point of saying they’re ‘probably’ going to do something but then of course we never hear about it again. In the latest vlog she says they’re going to line up for Runaway Railway to see if it’s actually a 65 minute wait but they don’t. They go shopping instead. Frustrates me.

Sorry double post but I just finished the vlog. She also makes a point of saying they’ll be at Epcot for extra hours so they can ride all the rides and they ride one?!!:cautious: Such a waste.

Would an editing course even help her if she still films such boring content 😴 I really had high hopes for her when the US opened back up, I really thought she would up here game but her vlogs are even worse than before. I wonder if my own expectations are too high 🤔 what she's doing is just documenting her holiday for herself, family and friends but in video form rather than photos like we did back in the day

You've hit the nail on the head! It's more like a diary for herself than any meaningful content for others to watch

Has anyone managed to dig any dirt on what Ian is up to now?
Yes, has he ever appeared on any vlogs or podcasts like Victoria seemed to think he would when they separated?

I would imagine he's living the life of Riley now he doesn't have to wait hand and foot on Little Miss Lazy. Seriously, I couldn't believe how little she did during lockdown. I still maintain it was that that resulted in the separation. When they were living 24/7 together and neither were taking any more of their many, many trips (usually not with each other) it became obvious to him how one sided their relationship was.

Even the vlogs of her godawful solo trip in November where better than this current series and that is really saying something

I thought so too. She did more by herself than she has with Kate. I was looking forward to this series of vlogs and seeing how much they got done together but clearly we aren't going to see anything more than shopping and eating.

Honestly Kate seems a completely different person, I think all she's done is whine and want to get food... Like neither of them seem like they can be arsed or evenings that pleased to be there, despite trying to convince us all (and maybe themselves) with the little 'off to epcot.... Soooo excited... Love this sooo much'

Aye so excited you duck about in the room/getting food then do 2 attractions and leave....
