The only thing that makes me nervous about getting it booked now is that they've moved to tickets only through the app but the last time I tried to buy tickets through the TDL website back in 2020 they didn't accept foreign credit cards. I'm assuming that will be fixed now if that's the only way you can buy tickets but who knows.

Yes going solo! Planning on 7 nights in Tokyo, 4 nights in Kyoto and Osaka, and 2 nights in Hiroshima with a one week railpass and two days at Tokyo Disney while I'm there. Staying in a business traveler hotel in Ueno in Tokyo, a ryokan in Kyoto, and a capsule hotel in Hiroshima. I'm not staying onsite at Tokyo Disney... all the hotels are quite pricey and frankly there aren't alot of advantages to staying there so I'll just take the subway over both days from central Tokyo.

I love Hannah! She also said around the same time that Disney vloggers were putting her off going on her trip this year because they do nothing and look bored to be there. lol Glad someone said it aloud what the rest of us have been thinking!

OMG yes!!! She is truly the best! I've watched all her videos (not just the Tokyo Disney ones) and figured out things to do. Also for Japan videos, there's Paolo from Tokyo and TabiEats who live there and do lots of yummy food videos and trips here and there. TDR Explorer is good for Tokyo Disney videos.

Honestly, that's how I found Victoria... by looking for Tokyo Disney and Japan videos. Her's were the absolute worst but then I saw she did the Florida parks too and watched those videos too. Now I'm not too fussed to watch besides the travel day episodes since every park day is the same.

I will say this for anyone who is nervous about travelling solo. Do it! Don't wait for friends or family to want to go with you. Also from my research, Japan seems to be very easy to navigate as far as public transit, etc. with signs in English as well as Japanese and it's an extremely safe country to visit.

She never has so if she claims it’s her TM, she is not being entirely truthful. She happily does Big Thunder so not sure why she eschews the other similar rides. Probably can’t be arsed

This is what I’ll look at doing if there’s no dining offers released for 2023 stays. How far in advance do you need to look at renting the points?
 
Ok a couple of my thoughts on the latest vlog:
Kate seems permanently annoyed and never smiles, jokes or laughs.
How are they so exhausted after sleeping for so long on the flight and then going to bed so early.
Why didn’t we get a shot of Kate when she saw the castle for the first time? We only saw her before and after.
Seemed quite frantic looking in the shops and going from shop to shop, I thought I’d accidentally sped the video up the rate she was nattering!
As long as they are enjoying it it’s the main thing I guess but if that was their first video I can across I don’t think I’d be watching another.
