Can’t see the urgency to get back. Most of the new rides are delayed so wait until they open. I am.! Also the TTA and coffee really it’s been exhausted
saying that she looks good and I think she seems to be handling the break up well
As for the suggestion she’s rented her dvc points out, I know someone with them and they haven’t been able to rent theirs as no one wants them. There points expired as uk citizens couldn’t travel and Disney had no ‘goodwill’ scenario for them owners. They took a hit as they had to play maintenance dues on them. Dvc is looking dire as dues are meant to sky rocket and resale is through the floor

I do know UK DVC owners who have had their points extended in this situation when they weren't able to travel due to the rules. Maybe it was a case of hang up and call again.

They one extended the 2019 points to when your ‘use year ends’ this year but you still can’t use them as we can’t travel to the USA. It’s a close family member who has them and they had two options either use for Disney uk cruise, bank into rci, Disney adventures (which is loads of points for a trip) or lose them. Think you can only use rci if you bought before a certain time. My family member tried to sell them and had no luck, not an easy process either as you need an ITIN number for US tax
They are going to try and sell theirs as dues are predicted to sky rocket

So it's like basically having two fast passes booked. Once those have been used up, you can book more.

I think she will suddenly have an onset of her TM and use it as there is now way she will queue for hours for ANYTHING and I can't see her affording the new genie plus system

But what about if she goes with someone, they can't get those fast passess.

That’s odd.

We have a Feb use year and a June use year. The points due to expire by the end of Jan 22 have been extended for 6 months. There’s a workaround fix, you just have to ask for it I believe.

That’s right, it’s the whole party, but everyone has to register at the same time
 
As long as everyone is on the same account although I don't know how it works if you are travelling with people in a group and people hold their own annual passes?

I just cannot see her standing in line for hours for rides!

I can't see a lot of UK vloggers standing in queues for hours! Unless they get the fastpass for rides they go a whole holiday without riding Slinky, FoP, 7 Dwarves so she is not alone in this!

I just wonder how many regret not waiting in a queue one last time on their last holiday as many said, of we will just ride it next time without knowing that was 2+ years away

People in a group you used to just get everyone with their magic bands to the window.
Maybe now they all need to be friends on MDE
 
Has an exact date for the release of Genie plus been announced yet? I did a quick Google search, and all I could find was "Fall 2021." Also, have they announced which specific rides are going to be covered by Genie plus and which will fall into the Individual attraction selections (and what that's going to cost)? I couldn't find specifics?

They extended the 2019 points to this year after but next years they aren’t, so my family member has now booked a uk cruise they don’t really want to do for next week it lose the points. The 2020 points must be used by dec 2022. They are feeling really let down by it all. I’ve passed on what you have written though
