I don’t understand the obsession with any of it. I love a WDW holiday but her (and others’) obsession with going several times a year and always having an upcoming trip is a distraction from the real world and they seem to not be able to cope without it. I think their dependency on it is a form of mental illness

I love the vibe in the parks... if I lived locally to a park and had an AP i'd pop in regularly if only to have a coffee and have a walk around - definitely in AK or Epcot... maybe ride HM or Pirates - HOWEVER I don't understand why you would spend thousands upon thousands to do it several times a year unless it was worthwhile - i.e., you made more than it cost you, through sponsorships etc., but I can't see that Vicky makes that much!

My friend lives 20min from Anaheim and goes to Disneyland every other weekend. I asked her why, and she said to get the most out of AP because it cost her so much. That I totally get, and she’s also so fit because of how active she is. She can’t stand the influencers though
for me the crowds would be too much to do it so much. Vicky honestly believes this is her job and sometimes she says she does certain things just for us, really?!??

Agree entirely and what makes it even weirder is that she doesn't even enjoy herself while she's over there. She spends hardly any time in the parks, moans constantly and never does anything new, challenging or interesting. Yet insists this is her "happy place". A psychiatrist would have a field day with her.
As soon as they're home they're planning their next trip
they build it up so much in their heads that as soon as they touch down in Orlando they're counting down the days until they have to fly home which just puts a dampner on each day! And in Victoria's case even when she's in Orlando she's planning her next trip in her head (as she always says I can do that next time) I really think she'd benefit from a month long stay rather than a 2 week trip every few months

So I posted this on the brogan thread but Vicky’s social blade. According to it she makes $600-$10k a year (lol). Kat’s social blade is the same figure.
Now of course, we don’t know how accurate that figure is, but if Vicky and Kat are earning around the same from YT, yet Kat has a very successful Etsy business too (81k sales), then how the hell is Vicky spending like she does and Kat isn’t?
Vicky’s finances are seriously the biggest mystery of all to me on here.

I'm a bit ignorant in all this... but that's a big margin for error surely... between $600 and $10k?
So effectively she could just be earning $600??? Even if she was pulling in the maximum $10k, that's not enough to fund all her trips - she probably spends more than that on Joffreys alone!!!

Yup, that’s why I wouldn’t take the estimations as accurate. It’s so hard to figure out a solid answer on YT earnings, so I’m solely assuming her metrics are the same as Kat’s as that’s what info Social blade are pulling, so they must be earning very similar.
but yes, it still must be pretty low even with the higher estimation, yet Vicky spends like she’s earning £60k+ a year and living rent free.
Brogan does many more ads, and Adam has his merch line and book, so I understand better how they have more funds.
But with Vicky, nothing adds up.

It’s definitely the most baffling thing about her. It’s not just the money she spends on getting there it’s the way she drops money on merch like she has a money tree at the bottom of the garden! When we were there last one of my kids picked up the puppet Porg thing that she bought in Galaxy’s Edge at HS on her trip with Kate and I couldn’t believe it was near enough $50!! The price of all merch had gone through the roof I noticed. I know she gets AP discount but even so I’d love to know where she finds the money to spend as she does.

And with the current currency rate, it’s even tougher than ever. It’s definitely affected me, but hasn’t seemed to have affected her at all? Her ‘budget’ trip was a complete joke.

Catherine's ditched her so on her own, spouting about work she's got to do. Detail of the day, sometimes you get a really hot Starbucks! Mac and Cheese for lunch, didn't fill her so got fries straight after. This is the woman who constantly tells us she doesn't eat much.
Left to go and do some work, aka go to the Polynesian and sit on her lardy ass.
Adding to today's calorie intake, got herself a dolwhip. And straight on to dinner. Suppose the whip was her starter!

Pot stickers, mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Shock horror didn't like the mushrooms.
Chins are out in force.

Fun to compare this to Catherine’s AK day. Vic rides one ride she spent $14 on, a shop, and junk food. Safari is one hour wait. No time because the coach is calling at the Poly. Good grief. She has absolutely no self awareness.

can anyone explain to me what she means by Flight of passage being her "favourite ride" and Haunted Mansion her "favourite attraction"?? I don't get it and I've never been on Flight of Passage.... so is there something that makes that one a "ride" and the others attractions? so confusing!
