Anyone done a fast longer than 16 hours? I’m tempted to read the Dr Mindy pelz (?) book and see if I can do a prolonged fast,,, I don’t think I could do just water as I’d drop with hunger/light head but wondering if I could do it with MCT.
I’ve done 48 hours with relative ease. Build up to it by extending your fasts by one or two hours each week. Take electrolytes/black coffee (if you drink it) during the fast and it’s much easier. Whether you do water or fat fasting depends on your goals. Fat fasting can keep you in ketosis, water fasting promotes autophagy.
