I need to share my controversial DOI opinion on here… I really like Vanessa! She’s my favourite pro after Mark (and Alex Murphy, gone but not forgotten 😢)

Everyone says she always gets the ringers but I would argue that some of her partners haven’t been obvious ringers (this year being a good example, I didn’t think Joey would be as good as he is) but she always seems to bring the best out of them. I think that says a lot about her commitment and her skill. I agree she could do with getting an obvious duffer like a Bez just to even things a little, but I actually think she would bring the best out of a duffer too, because she’s so disciplined and passionate. I’m always impressed with her choreography and I think she’s a beautiful skater in pro numbers too.

Her stank face when she gets criticism or something doesn’t go her way absolutely kills me 🤣🤣 I like that she doesn't put on a fake reaction, it’s refreshing in a sea of TV fakery.

She’s German, they say what they mean. None of the polite smiling and hiding disappointment like English.
You’re right about her lovely routines and bringing out the best in contestants. I though Joey would be like Bambi.
I treated myself to watching all of Perri and Vanessa’s routines yesterday. They were beautiful !

The celebs have to audition though so the producers or whoever is picking would have seen he was good then and put him with her
