Because they didn't have enough skaters to even make it to the end of the series last year. So they're like Yay, we made it this year! The relief is palpable.

As it’s a double elimination I wonder if they’ll say whoever is bottom of the votes will be an automatic elimination and then the next lowest 2 votes will face the skate off

Tonight was a snooze fest yet again. Another head banger, which is never fun to watch. And another predictable skate off. I fast forwarded most of it.

Please forgive what I’m sure is a stupid question, but can I ask what the difference was between the headbanger that Brendan did, and the last lift that Kyle did, I think the commentator called it a float? I thought they looked the same - I watched them both again and they both appeared to swing their partners close to the ice, but Brendan got huge kudos? I’ve never been on an ice rink in my life so am absolutely clueless - apologies

Me and my mum said the same. When they were doing it we were saying “omg they never mentioned in the video that they were doing the headbanger” then it was called a float?? Was so confused!

I don't think it was as extreme as the headbanger- like her head didn't get as close to the floor and it didn't have the same up and down motion. But I know nothing about ice skating so don't listen to me

Right decision tonight.
I do have to ask, why is it that it’s now deemed unacceptable to not enjoy the performance of those who may have higher disadvantages than others.
Likewise to rose on strictly,
I didn’t enjoy steph’s performances and she wasn’t a favourite of mine.
Not that I can’t appreciate they are both inspirational women who have overcome such massive obstacles in life to succeed but I just didn’t get the hype with either yet if you state this on any public support group of the show you are outcast and attacked. It makes no sense
