I too am new to this, can anybody explain who abbey lane is? Was she a dancer, a choreographer? Why does she run a dance studio?

I don't think she did much competitively. She's said that she was always more of a teacher and started teaching when she was 14 at her mum's dance studio and then developed it into the ALDC. There are some clips of her dancing online when she was young which show she was nothing special at dancing really but she has said that she was just 'marking' the routine and not doing it properly

Yeah but streaming is a pain with rural broadband and you can't skip the ads. Iplayer is a no go buffer, buffer, freeze pixallate
