I beg to differ, I was sent this screenshot from someone. Carla sent this to them after they commented on one of her posts. Unfortunate typo or maybe a Freudian slip? But shows she does work for the CONpany

It almost sounds like legal jargon. I have a hard time imagining Wheeler actually has access to an attorney, and an even harder time imagining any grounds for action to compel this, but I suppose anything is possible …

I find it quite an agressive move for him to just call, unless it was a pre arranged and agreed upon call... its almost like pressure selling/cold calling. Surely it could've been ironed out via email, and then there's a paper trail and evidence from both parties... a phone call is very pushy and perosnal and I wouldn't want one. Whilst I'm sad to see a person leave the troops, I do hope the lady is ok after that, despite my suspicious nature. 😕
 
It sounds like (hopefully) he has handled a situation in the correct manner. If this is true that I respect this persons right to say what they have said. It doesnt change my opinion of him at all, but I respect other peoples. I suspect he has very convincingly persuaded said person that legal action is a real consequence (it absolutely isnt) This sounds terribly like coercion to me! But we will never know how that conversation went. Thats fine. We move on! x

I thought the same. I hope it was pre arranged. Difficult to be put on the spot like that.

It seems clear the statement is worded by the business. He has prior for harassment by phone - and other means.
Just be mindful of that - and that as a customer you have the right to express concerns about businesss practices and the behaviour of employees. You are also entitled to whistleblow.

I’m not the only person to receive threats and harassment. I’m not the only person to report them to the police. Carla has been clear that she is employed by the business. Fat Dan said he would set me up as a pweirdo - he employed/representative………
Other things have occurred that are very serious that I have not shared on social media but involve him and his staff and have also been reported to the police.

if you receive threats or harassment report them to the police. My advice is to refuse to speak with him without a witness.

Omfg, he is literally saying you don't have to be qualified to give advice on psychological therapies... we literally have to sign an agreement at the beginning of each year to state we WILL NOT practice or give any form of psychological treatment

Theres also this.. this is what the requirements are to practice and give any form of professional advice or treatment

What he has is a certificate, not a qualification... its to say, "I've read about Cognitive behavioural therapy"

Whilst I do agree with you laws are a bit different in the UK and shockingly you can practice as a councilor or therapist without much qualification. I have done a level 3 in counselling and could practice very easily. I would not be BACP approved but would not be breaking any laws.
 
bleeping irate, because here's me spending tens of thousands of pounds to work towards my Forensic Psychology masters and possibly PhD afterwards... to be able to really help people with trauma, and hes sat in his gfs back garden spouting shite, "I'm fully qualified" ... NO!!! YOU HAVE A MASTERS IN BULLSHIT MATE!!

Not acreddited though, you can be a trainee, and counselling (which I do) is not cbt, its just talking and listening, with no medical involvement. I am in the UK, and to practice as a psychologist you have to be at masters level and BPS accredited.

He is insinuating he is able to give cbt... because he has a certificate.
