No … in all that time he’s not changed much. His measurements should be much smaller than they are. He hasn’t completed anything

Agree 100%
StillFatDan was wishful thinking when he was on 5k calories, and still at 3.5k he eats massive piles of food! Someone needs to tell him that his stomach capacity is no bigger than a normal healthy adult, it's just been stretched beyond its limits.
He needs to learn to stop eating when full - not overstuffed. Watching him eating those huge platefuls is like these eating challenges you see on TV 😬🤢
He needs to learn new habits, not reinforce the old ones, which is all DW did- gave him permission to overeat!
It's sad. He should have dropped stones in that time, DW and 8020 have really done him dirty 😒
He also needs to learn how to count calories - he recently posted a video of a mixed grill that he'd eaten and stated that it was 1537 calories but according to the menu and a quick look on Nutracheck shows that it actually contained 2467 - almost 1000 calories more than he reckoned. This was pointed out to him but he obviously took no notice. A quick look through his meals and its obvious that he's in the habit of underestimating the calorie content quite considerably. He reckons that he's lost cm's even if he's not losing weight - but
measuring yourself is so inaccurate because as I've said before, I can lose 30cm in less than 2 minutes just by pulling the tape measure a teeny bit tighter and measuring just a tiny bit further up or down.
It's also been pointed out several times that a Dr or surgeon isn't going to be impressed if you tell them "I still weigh 30+ stones but I've lost a centimetre from my left ankle".🙄

Exactly this. I remember DW justifying the 5k calories because he was doing strongman stuff but now DJ is using a strong man gym and is on 3.5k he reckons - as its already been pointed out, his portions and calories are way off though.

Yeah I agree - DW has failed him on his weight loss/fat loss as he lost 2 stone when first started it then not long after increasing cals to 5000 he then lost no more to this day. If he’d stayed on 4000 cals that’s still a huge amount of food for someone I think we’d see a different number on the scales today. If DW said DJ is not doing 80/20 for fat loss/weight loss but to get his mobility back first then no one would be pointing this out - they shouted from the roofs 80/20 never diet again look at DJ look look look - well we have seen and 80/20 as you sell it hasn’t worked here.

Yes he has his mobility back and DJ says this has saved his life, good for you - but that is completely your separate 121 journey with DW you had AND NOT what everyone gets so DW mis sold using DJ and DJ went ahead with as well promoting 80/20

He would be better off following Slimming world to the letter as it would naturally reduce the portions of the food that prevents his weightloss

Yeah, I didn't even factor in the inaccuracy of his calorie counting! 😳

I saw a video where he had chicken and boiled potatoes the other day, I'm sure he said 1200 calories and no, no Dan that was not 1200 calories, the chicken alone was that most likely. It's hard to judge on camera admittedly but he is lying to himself. He is only chewing himself. I admit I'm bigger than I should be and on the struggle train so perhaps shouldn't be dishing out the comments but I do know what 1200 calories looks like, I'm just too much of a porky to do it just now 😂

Thank you to one of our own for stepping in and helping the lady on TT earlier 😘

I have said it before and I will say it again. Once they have your cash they do not care.

Most people underestimate the calories they consume. Labels may be inaccurate, and unless you’re carefully weighing literally every single thing, accounting for cooking oils etc. it’s easy to be off. DJ amplifies this effect tenfold.

Exactly this. I remember DW justifying the 5k calories because he was doing strongman stuff but now DJ is using a strong man gym and is on 3.5k he reckons - as its already been pointed out, his portions and calories are way off though.

And yeah the whole strongman thing to justify these insane calories is also ridiculous. Resistance training actually burns very little energy, relative to what one might expect. An elite bodybuilder might burn a few hundred cal on a heavy leg day.

If DJ wanted to get healthy he would continue walking, increasing distance over time, reduce his calories to something remotely reasonable, and choose healthy food rather than constant junk. I am certain he must know this.

how does one complete a “lifestyle plan”? 🧐… asking for a friend 😝

This was DJs response to me asking him why if its a 16 week plan did he 32 weeks+ then leave...

Apparently of all people I should know.

Responses are out of sync but I responded with I was just after the clarity. He liked it but no response.

What do you guys read into that?

So DJ mobility has improved massively which is an awesome achievement , but surely if he is exerciseing and moving more his weight should have dropped anyway . Just goes to prove something isn't right
Absolutely - it’s the calories he was given that wasn’t right - ring any bells anyone? Lots of us given maintenance or too high cals - someone on DJs TT worked out his cals and said 4800 was his maintenance so of course he didn’t lose any weight. Seriously why does 80/20/DW give out maintenance cals (or more for some
Of us) knowing you won’t lose weight?

Is he saying you off all people should know as in he’s realised what a see U next Tuesday DW is?
Or he’s realised the plan doesn’t actually work?

I deffo thing something has gone off with them two

At a guess it’s to get you into the cult hoping that you’ll then carry on paying AFTER the 16 weeks because you just need to ‘trust the process’

I definately think something is amiss with the whole DJ/DW thing.

DJ posted a now deleted vid saying that he had been warned about mentioning Wheeler.

I personally think DJ had been distancing himself for a while and has finally taken that leap. I reckon DW has politely (most likely aggressively) told him that hes signed an NDA.

You know, the NDA that's not worth the paper it's written on.

I think that's why hes telling me that of all people I should know why he's left. Cos I (we) know how much of a knob head DW is.

He seems to be doing the exact opposite - he initially aimed for doing 10,000 steps a day (only managed it once if I'm not mistaken) then it was never really mentioned again until his holiday when he said he was planning on doing 8000 steps a day, then a couple of weeks ago he mentioned he was trying to walk 7000 steps each day, but in the last day or so he said he tries for 6000 to 7000 steps. He doesn't say if he actually achieves it. So in the space of a couple of months he's chopped off 4000 steps. Not the right way to go.

I reckon he must be eating his body weight in snacks to not be losing any weight. He's not going to admit to it though is he...?

DJ has now replied to somebody on one of his videos to say that 80/20 saved his life. But has also ‘liked’ a comment from somebody else saying ‘check out the reviews on trustpilot and tattle before you join up’ so who knows what’s going on there.
He does this type of thing all the time just to get views/engagement on his videos. He thinks he's being clever but it's just really childish.

DJ got £1k and free coaching and now walked away now the ship is sinking… not shocked at all

I roughly figured out his calories and got in the 4000’s for maintenance too so for him to actually be loosing weight (‘fat’) he needs to be on around the 3500 mark. However if he were on that from the start and actually received the correct CBT from a fully qualified psychologist to cure his binge eating he’d be well into the 20’s stone bracket by now and naturally the less you weigh the easier it is to be mobile. That 4-5000 calories a day plus pushing him to be mobile at that weight must have put HUGE strain on his heart 😏
