Or Mandy would have watched some YouTube videos and 'persuaded' her like she did when she 'learnt' how to do tattoos and she was too scared to say no. At least then there would be an excuse for it looking so tit.

I was gutted she came back to Never Mind The Buzzcocks for the Christmas episode. Much preferred Sophie Willan standing in, and hope they'd make her permanent. She looked like she might have had more work done to her face too. Although strangely not her nose. That's the first thing I'd have done if I had her money.

I feel like everyone has a rose-tinted memory of Caroline Adherne. She went through phases of falling out of clubs and bars drunk, hung around with other celebs like Gallagher brothers etc and had moments where she definitely courted the media and only latterly kept out the limelight. She attended awards shows etc and reminds me so much of DMC, but obviously far more talented and much funnier but I can see similar messiness like ratty extensions etc.

I remember one incident when she drunkenly heckled Nigel Hawthorne at an awards ceremony, when he was giving a speech on the stage. She definitely did go through a messy stage. But still, her worst times were better than DMC and she was more talented in my opinion. And I think she was naturally quite pretty. She just didn't do herself any favours sometimes with her styling.
