Dahlia Beach

Another thing to add, the membrane might have worked if they had put more than a single tissue paper sheet over it. Whenever we wrap any tender flowers it’s like it’s swathed in a duvet of the stuff, it looks quite comical. You don’t want even a drop of frost getting through and it was like they just took single ply toilet paper and wafted it over the top. Such a waste of time and money but she already knows that now, it’s a lesson learned for next year.

My good friend is a flower farmer. She looked ahead at the forecast and harvested everything she had left on Wednesday and Thursday. She did 2 long days to get everything in, conditioning and protected in the barn, the last bouquets for the Friday market. As someone else said Andie left it all much too late and her thinking wafting a bit of fabric over the dahlias will be enough to keep the frost away, further shows that she has no clue what she is doing!!!

I find it fascinating that earlier in the week she was talking about the dahlia business in the same way that she was talking about having her friends over for a birthday dinner. Zero professionalism in regards to her ‘work’

The irony is that she thinks she is such an expert. She even posted a video giving advice about how to protect dahlias from frost.
Perhaps if she spent less time filming other people doing the work, and silly videos and just cracked on and got on with being a flower farmer, then things might be a bit more successful. It’s clear that she is nearly there but she just takes on too much, makes her slaves do the hard graft and then films herself crying when it goes a bit wrong. It’s the same routine every year. Manic manic manic, cry for sympathy. Manic manic manic, cry for sympathy. Next will be the “I’ve got adhd” excuses. It’s tiresome.

Andi has posted this in a flower group on Facebook (SIL is in the flower industry and hates her as much as I do 😂)

Maybe if she didn't have so many holidays a year she wouldn't be stretched so thin? Tried employing people? Well she's a lazy arse boss who rocks up every now and then with a camera in her hand, grinning like a demented Cheshire cat, (or crying her eyes out at her latest catastrophe, depending on the weather) wanting to take 100% of the credit when anything goes right. So no, I don't spose it did work out well for her.

Is ‘Farm Manager’ the new term for general dog’s body?

She is clearly creating a job where someone else does everything so Andi can piss off on hols and make jolly reels. I feel sorry for anyone that thinks they will be her partner, they might have to even chuck some money in so they can join in with this partnership but will be left to do all the hard work and take the blame!

Any sensible person who has watched the tears and disorganisation over the last couple of years would run far away from this ‘opportunity’.

What on earth is she up to now 🤦🏼‍♀️ all those flowers and she’s strimmed the lot! Obviously doesn’t need to sell any more this season…

On 13th August she posted ‘this decision is going to change my life’ and announced Sophie as her new head of operations…and then we never saw her again?! They’re not following each other so I’m guessing it didn’t go well 🙄

Has anyone noticed she’s definitely not oversharing anywhere near as much now, especially showing her family (which is a good thing for those poor children!)?

Well she's a mess. Is it any wonder if people don't stay long around her.
