First time on a COVID thread so I’m not sure of the general feel to it so I apologise if I offend anyone with anything I post! 🤣 I’m very much pro vaccine and fully believe covid is what it is BUT I don’t agree with the constant lockdown extending, it’s not going to go away, we all know that, but it’s getting pathetic now. And cancelling furlough, it’s all about control now. Putting countries on the red list but still letting flights in and out of covid hotspots? Really bad in India but letting flights come in for a week before saying no more? Forcing the track and trace app on you. Bonkers.

also R.E vaccines - I’m fully vaccinated as I was in group 6, my partner doesn’t want his, which is fine. He’s 29 so could only book from his a few days ago, he’s already had several texts and a letter from the NHS within a few days! They say it’s your choice but clearly they’re trying to push people into it which I don’t agree with.

Neither myself or my partner want the vaccine and let me tell you, we could make a boat for Boris to ever so kindly sail himself off to ANY other country with all the letters we’ve had 💀🤣 it’s bordering on harassment at this point. You'd think they would have a better use for the resources over a year into this whole debacle, but apparently bullying tactics are their preferred form of wastage.

Same. I said on a previous thread that if I was being harrassed like this by an ex partner I would take out a restraining order. I have opted out multiple times but still they persist.

I've already had both (group 2 H&S care) alas. Even work is the same just ramping up on the MH issues. Glad I was duty today and not tomorrow!

Im sure the NHS could have benefited from the millions that have gone into the harassment letters and texts.

They say the hospital admissions will increase and stress the NHS. The NHS hasn't been able to cope or manage properly for years and years, being up tit creek without a paddle is nothing new for our health service. Why dismantle the nightingale hospitals that were never used if the NHS will be overloaded. What an insane waste of money. This could be managed so much better with a competent government

I've never commented on here before just followed the threads but I've had a bleeping nough now.
I've gone by the rules mostly but I feel like isn't about covid anymore but control by the government and I don't really buy into the cts either. There's absolutely no reason for these delays and you can bet your bottom dollar on there being another reason why July 19th is delayed.
If there aren't riots soon there will be in July.
I'm sick of masks, social distancing and having to book to go anywhere!
Boris grow a back bone tell SAGE to f off and let us live.
 
Also in the completely done with it club, and I work for the NHS (not clinical). I've sat in a couple of the bed meetings and it seems that the clinical staff are exasperated with it all now too
I just want my friends wedding to go ahead, I want my wedding to go ahead, I want a group fathers day meal for my dad and my fiance's dad, I want to not wear a manky mask, I want to be squashed against my mates at a club night
I WANT TO GO FOR A MEAL WITHOUT BOOKING IT 8 WEEKS IN ADVANCE

I got my vaccines because it was promised it was our path to freedom

I believe covid is a thing, but we are managing it now.

im not an anti vaxxer , but i can see why people dont want to take it though , my arm has become scabby and painful where i had the second jab, its probably nothing to worry about, i spoke to the doctors receptionist and you have to do triage online now so you have to take pictures and send it to them and they get back to you , its on my arm but i might take a full nude pic and send it in while pointing to my arm :D :D ,

but seriously i wouldnt like a small child to come out in a painful scabby skin condition from the jab, when at the very start and all the way through kids dont get the virus like adults , now all of a sudden they pretend the indian variant (that has been no more dangerous than flu) is so bad kids need the jab, its when they do things like this for me its smells of a decision solely based on making money from the vaccine, the indian variant has been around for the best part of 2 or more months , it was announced when i only had my first jab, same as others and i dont think ive heard this time around any people i know mentioning anyone they know getting it, so all of a sudden they are desperate for people to get the second jab when there is no evidence to support it, the delay to me seems like a punishment for everyone, so they get us to nag and argue and grass up people to have the second jab, more dangerous peer pressure tactics like they did over xmas when they wanted the terminally miserable bastards to grass on neighbours because they had a visitor, so the police come mob handed smash up the front door , charge in to find it was the postman delivering a parcel and he was only there for 30 seconds.
