This India reporting by sky is the most ghoulish I've seen in ages. Zooming in on a new patient arriving via rickshaw and faux empathy from the reporter about the lack of dignity! Then interviewing someone trying to get a reaction talking about all their family members in hospital sick.

I realise I'm part of the problem by continuing to watch it 😐

"Oh look there's someone else being wheeled away" *points and camera zooms in on them*

There have been a small number of cases reported in other countries too. Would be interesting to see research studies into this as it means more knowledge on the virus and how it transmits between human ➡ animals and vice versa.
That why they said they can never eradicate it once it transmits to animals there’s no way out it will evolve through the different species in one form or another.

Robotic barmen could be a thing 😂

Maybe there is something in immune response for those that have already been infected

India’s health system has collapsed :(

The news from India is just awful - I'm guessing that they're underreporting case numbers as well as deaths from the stories that are coming out of there.

Guess that answers the question whether covid would be a seasonal thing - I know there are other factors but it's definitely worrying 😔

They have said they don't know how many have it / died from it because of the poverty a lot of people can't make it to hospital , I think it's the speed at which it's taken off has shocked people ,but granted there was a massive religious festival going on and thousands were huddled together so it was to be expected although maybe not as quick or ferocious as it did :( ... I hope they're keeping a good eye on the UK cases .
