Today's act of randomness from our school is that all children must come to school dressed in their PE kit on the days that they have PE, and they will remain in PE kit for the rest of the day. No explanation given. Have any teachers on here adopted this practice at their schools? PE is always outside too, even when it's raining.

Ours has been like this from Sept. I prefer it as it saves so much time and we actually get a longer PE lesson! Plus the kids don't mind. If its raining, PE is done inside (in our school anyway with all the hall windows open)

I think I'm mostly annoyed that this means I'm going to have to start ironing PE kits as well as uniforms 😬 Normally I just shove it in the PE bag and forget about it!

Ahaha he will never live that photo down! 😂

So were booked to do a winter walk at our local garden centre during lockdown. Theyve said theyre still doing it. My friend has dropped out as she doesnt beleive its essential, she's right it isn't but I just want a little bit of christmas joy in 2020. If we dont go we lose the money as they havent cancelled it. Im really stuck on what to do 🙈

A little bit of light reading for you all! Just a couple of disclaimers from me - I’m not a Tory, I read a few different papers / media outlets for balance but I am really shocked that this isn’t gaining more traction regarding the fact that at the press briefing on Saturday Vallance and Whitty used data that was a few weeks old. I am not a covid denier at all, I realise it’s crucial to protect the NHS and all those of us who need the services but this manipulation of data is surely unethical.

I could find nothing on The Guardian or BBC about this, but something in the Daily Mail which interrogates the data and assumptions that SAGE is using.

I would be interested in people’s thoughts on the articles.
