So we were really looking forward to a Caribbean cruise in January to escape the dismal British weather and relax in the sunshine. However, on checking through the cruise lines Covid requirements, I read that passengers need to be double jabbed with Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson. No mention of the Oxford Astra Zenica that we've had.
Our travel agent checked with the cruise line and was told that is because at the moment AZ is still not approved in America. But ... They think that it might be approved by January, so advise us to pay the remainder of the holiday. Absolutely no chance!!!
So I'm wondering how other Brits are coping who had the AZ jabs, and want to travel to the Caribbean, especially passengers who are booked on cruises. Does anyone know?
Cant help with the vaccines but my friend loves cruises and went to book one and see you have to wear a mask at all times except when in your cabin and decided not to.
