One of the biggest gripes you see on forums is that storylines come and go too quickly. The character is diagnosed with depression say, they are affected for about a month, then make miraculous recovery for it never to be mentioned again. I can guarantee when Johnny comes out of prison his meds will have worked and his MS will be back under control

However, it just doesn't work in Soaps to do stuff in 'real time' . People get bored of the storyline and want the characters to move on to the next thing.

Maybe they just need to give the character of Yasmeen a good break. Send her off to stay with Zeedan or something for a while. Same with Leanne. I am sick of watching her on the screen. She's dominated it for months. I'm not sure why they thought it was necessary for her to go straight from Oliver to Simon drug dealing. ( I get the argument that Simon is feeling neglected by both parents etc etc ) Send her off to visit her Mum and Eva in France.

We need to see some other characters. I know it's not easy with Covid restrictions but it does feel like there's a handful of characters carrying the whole show at the moment. ( Gemma can stay away though)

I feel like shes the only character that could get away with that line in a non offensive way
I really cringed at that line o_O Was it really necessary? I'm finding Mary truly bizarre, used to 'quite like' her, but she's an OTT character now

Last nights was so boring.Eileen V Gail was not as funny as it used to be and as for Dev his daughter and girlfriend can we please build to something more interesting than them just watching a film the episode did truly drag
The scene with Eileen, Gail the funeral director all lobbing dialogue at each other was so stilted, then there's David in the background sniggering. The whole s/l was a mess.

I am watching out of habit now but seriously have no interest in any of the storylines.
What is the purpose of Daisy? I don't understand why she was even brought in?
Yasmeen is definitely having a breakdown & needs to leave it for a while to give us all a break. Aliyah can go with her.
I had hoped Paul would decide to leave after breaking up with Billy. I really can't stand him.
Leanne needs to take Simon on a much needed break to France & stay indefinitely.
Fed up with the Peter/Carla will they/won't they stay together storyline.

I can't think of any character I actually like any more!

I feel pretty much the way you do.

I watch every episode out of habit and loyalty but I nearly gave up tonight because I thought I can't bear anymore Leanne and Yasmeen. When Leanne started on Toyah with the 'you've never had a baby' shite again, I'd had enough.

Both Leanne and Yasmeen need a rest from our screens.

I’ve given up on today’s Corrie, there’s nothing of interest, the characters with no depth or ‘character’, storylines boring and script dire.

classic Corrie is a gem. Even seeing Ken being set up as a male escort as one ofAlec Gilroy’s little business sides was genius. There’s nothing like that today. Everyone just goes around shouting and their main focus is finding the new baddie

What is Daisy really up to? I feel like I’ve missed something, why has she got it in for Johnny so bad & want to split him & Jenny up or is there an ulterior motive?
Asha is getting too full on for Nina, I thought she was going to push her to Adi 🤣
Yasmeen needs to go off to a country retreat for some intense counselling.
Leanne should get a good slap in the face from Toyah, not the first time she’s made disgusting comments about her being unable to have children.
On yesterday’s classic she got one off Judy Mallett, I might have to rewatch it 🤛

I like Yasmeen's aftermath tbh, trauma after abuse is very real.

Leanne is just a nasty piece of work though, always being vile to those around her. Can't stand her.
